Will this World T20 be a humiliation for India just like 2021?
Lone Wolf replied to Nikhil_cric's topic in Cricket Talk
According to Shastri we would have a easily drawn the game... It's his biggest regret as per his interview. Still remember Pant played a ATG pathetic shot... The ugliest of hoicks that opened the door for Kiwis. We had no business to lose that game in 3 days. Kiwis had just enough time to force a win in final session of 6th day. -
UP Hindus seem to be easily subjugated... Throughout the history we have seen this.. These Mafias really used to dominate so many people is beyond believable. These BIMARU state Hindus also seem to divided severely on caste lines... Won't survive a future civil war. Ansaris have long history of domination in the region. We are probably looking at 2029-2031 window for a possible CW. UP is gonna be toast... Rest of the country will manage.

India's richest 1% holds 40% of wealth; inequality rising since 2000s:
mishra replied to Singh bling's topic in Chit Chat
Again, How shop owned by Bezos and not by Ambani helps in wealth distribution? Secindly, To a normal person, If Bezos put a clause that don’t sell the shops to Ambani clearly meant something fishy. Thirdly, check FDI inflow rate if you conclude that this case deterred investors. Finally, Holistic perspective, India has limited landmass. Indian leadership should be very careful about sectors they want investment in, India can not live in poltlutin timebomb simple because it decided to manufacture anything and everything - Today

I had posted that comment just after we lost the 1st test to SA. TBH, I had never thought that we were gonna win the 2nd test and level the series.

Yeah, so we were not good enough. We had already been beaten by NZ in NZ. This was not a one-off. NZ had the superior attack for when the ball was swinging/seaming and Jamieson's height, pace and accuracy back then was an extra advantage for NZ. I wouldn't count that as a missed opportunity when we were so outskilled . There was no evidence we could beat them in such conditions. -

Rohit fans are encashing this Pandua I hate him for his chewtpana he was showcasing , delaying Bumrah vs SRH and opening the bowling vs GT And imitating Dhoni while batting will always be suicidal when he himself has been the biggest freeloader in this format -

Naah we had quite a few opportunities to win that test despite the loss of toss or the lack of preparation. In the 1st inng we were 149-3 with a set Kohli and Rahane batting. From there we could have scored 300 but we ended up with a paltry 217. We again got an opportunity to win when we had NZ at 135/5. We could have got a small but significant lead of 30-40 runs but we ended up conceding one by letting their tail wag. We again had an opportunity to draw (and be joint winners) on the last day. All that we had to do was to somehow survive 2 sessions. But our star Trimurti couldn't play out 1 session among themselves. This match reminds me of the infamous Sydney 2007 test were from a winning position we had to settle for a draw and then ultimately ended up losing it! -

Lol everyone and his dog knows GT winning had barely anything to do with Pandya. IPL has been going on for many years, people will have loyalty, this dude is going to be hated from both sides. -

It's a sport at the end of the day and he will need to be able to produce skills to even keep his captaincy in the team. I mock him as much as the next person for his antics on the field, and yeah he is not doing a good job as a captain or a cricketer overall and MI fans have a right to question, but going to attack him for the money he is making or how he is happy with it or not is unnecessary. Everyone in their career will want to switch positions/jobs if they get a better deal, emotions need to be set aside. Mumbai left him when they thought he wasn't worth it, and now bent over backwards to bring him again once he tasted some success elsewhere. It's how corporate life works isn't it. -

They were the two most explosive too. Strike rates of 180 and 190.

Santner is probably the most economical spinner in ODI middle overs. Very underrated.

We wouldn't have won 2021 WTC. The way Jamieson was bowling , nobody could play him. -
Also, it's not the batting that is killing us in SA. SA always manage to have the taller, faster attack. It matters on the pitches they produce. They know India don't have bowlers who can generate bounce like their unit.
-
We also drew a Test series in SA for the first time since 2011?
