I'll tell you this has been a blockbuster series with the eyes of the world glued to it primarily to see how Bazball works in India. Thanks to Pope and non availability of our superstars (Pant,Shami ,kohli) This series is alive and kicking else this would have been another boring 4-0,5-0 drubbing that we are used to seeing. The Hyderabad Defeat was so hurting that is why we are cherishing every win or fightbacks in this series.

You are right and these type of wkts are the best for us but the problem is these type of wkts require strong batting line up , which we had in 2016 . In that series , England won the toss 4 times iirc , batted first 4 times and raked up 3 scores of 400+ , it was our in form batsmen who stood up and plain outbatted England. Just imagine England winning the toss at Rajkot and vizag ,or just put our current batsmen in that 2016 series batting second while chasing 400+ first innings total ! I think we would capitulate . Toss is a big factor , hopefully we win the toss in Ranchi

What legacy?? There are at least 4-5 test batters India have prodcued that were better than him and if we include bowlers or AR than at least 8-9 players who were bigger match winners than him. His PR and lunatic fans can spit lie all they want but it ain't gonna change the facts Check Sehwag, laxman,Gavaskar,Dravid ,Sachin's stats after 100 test matches ,all had averages in the range of 49-56. All said ,his personal space should be respected and if he wants time out then fine. But ideally BCCI or selectors shouldn't wait for him as if he's bigger than the game ,they should quickly look for his replacement at #4 position but who are we kidding ,he's the biggest money churner for the board and will be back for the IPL definitely.
