After the disastrous English tour one thing is clear that we need to develope a top class fast bowling pool of atleast 8-10 bowlers. For fast bowlers player growth, developement, proper break, fitness ,core strength improvement & diet these things are very important. One heartwarming thing is that we have some talented guys but all of them are not finished product yet.Though they can be developed into fantastic bowlers in 2-3 years time.Ishant Sharma(age-23,pace-135-152kph)),Varun Aaron(age-21,pace-140-154kph),Umesh Yadav(age-23,pace-135-152kph),Sudeep Tyagi(age-24,pace-135-145kph),Abu Nechim Ahmed(age-22,pace-135-145kph),Rahul Shukla(age-21,pace-unknown but hyped as very fast),Pritam Das(age-22,pace-unknown but he's sharp),Pawan Suyal(age-21,pace-unknown but he's sharp) all are very young & qu

Our Indian team is now in the caribbean & doing reasonably well without some star players but England tour is on the horizon & the team selection is on the July 2nd this weekend.I urge all my fellow members to air their views 7 opinion about the team & choose a 16 man test squad which can beat the "Poms" in their own backyard. This is my squad for the tour:- 1)Sehwag(If he's fit),2)Gambhir,3)Dravid,4)God,5)Laxman,6)Raina,7)Yuvraj/Pujara,8)Dhoni(wk & captain),9)Parthiv(reserve wk & opener),10)Harbhajan,11)Mishra(as poms are weak against wrist spin),12)Zaheer,13)Sreesanth,14)Ishant,15)Praveen(lacks pace but he'll be handy in the english condition),16)Munaf.Vijay or Mukund will replace Sehwag if he's not fit

Today Sree has tweeted that he's almost 100% fit & bowling flatout in the nets.He believes that it's just matter of time before he consistently hits 145-150k.We've seen him bowl fast before(upto 149k I believe) & he certainly believes that he can bowl fast. What do u guys think abt his "pace" & more importantly the "performance" factor in the upcoming England series?

[NOTE: This article is just to break the stress in Indian Cricket Fans’s mind and make them fit to support TEAM INDIA in ICC WORLD CUP 2011. Read fully before scolding the author]
The Series down under against Proteas just concluded few days ago.Now they are having a span of 18 days for their world campaign. What will they do in these 18 days.
“Few” will practice, while few like Rohit Sharma and Pragyan Ojha will think where they went wrong.
Right let us go in depth in this issue.
Mr.Mahendra Singh Dhoni
The Captain-cool of Team India, will be keen on some game plans (obviously). On the Otherhand, how will be worried thinking “How did Gautam got 11Cr ? ?”

He is no less than the God in the Subcontinent. He is regarded as a living legend, as a live encyclopedia of cricket. He is the idol for many young cricketers. He has set benchmarks for himself to beat it and also for others to beat it. If you want to commit a error, then commit it when this LITTLE MASTER is batting.
He is none other than Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.
Domestic Career:
Being inspired by India’s world cup triumph in 1983, He began his cricketing carrer with a bang early in his school days. In Azad Maidan Trophy in Februaury 1988, Sachin and his very own friend Vinod Kambli shared a record unbroken stand of 664 for third wicket while playing for their school Sharadhasram against St.Xaviers. Sachin remained 326 not out at the end of the match.

Sunday match is always going to be excited. It was yet-again clash between India and Srilanka where both the teams are not with big names with India missing the most. A 154 stand between Rohit and Kohli sealed the game for India. Chasing 242, India crossed the line with 7 wickets and woth 29 balls to spare. Thanks mainly to Rohit Sharma's ton.
Descent Bowling:
Earlier Raina won the toss and asked his counterpart to bat. India opening bowlers Dinda and Yadav bowled well this time. They restricted lankans for 39/2 in 10 overs.Dilshan and Mathews slowely built a partnership. They lasted for 61 runs and soon after scoring his half century,Dilshan was run out. None really performed well for Lankans.

Sachin, Harbhajan and Zaheer join Nita Ambani in reaching education to underprivileged and disadvantaged kids
Sometimes you can score in cricket without picking a bat and walking onto the crease; before you spin the ball and send a thunderbolt streaking down the wicket; and, even while the covers are still on the grass and the teams are dressing up. All it takes is a cause, your belief in it, and the willingness to give of yourself to further that cause. That’s what Nita Ambani has started doing this week, scoring for her IPL team the Mumbai Indians, even though the third season of the popular Twenty20 tournament is still a cool 17 days away. And this Nita’s doing not for Messrs.
