Well, i knew they would go in with 7 batsmen - but dropping PATHAN ? That's a real surprise. He would have done very well in these conditions, especially if India batted first and would need to bowl under lights during the evening ! I won't be complaining if the team wins though, but i just can't fathom how they can drop one of the team's proven match-winners.

Same here. If they dropped Pathan in India I didn't mind but dropping him on a pitch that is going to bounce and not a high scoring pitch either. The average score on this pitch is 230 over the last few years. Symcox feels this pitch is a 260 runs pitch.

This pitch Gambo has not assisted the spinners and they all think there is no point playing a spinner at all.
