Pune sign Imran Tahir for injured Mitchell Marsh

Recommended Posts

South Africa's Imran Tahir, the No. 1-ranked ODI and T20 bowler, is set to turn up for a second IPL franchise - the Rising Pune Supergiant - after being signed as a replacement for the injured Australian allrounder Mitchell Marsh.

Tahir and Ashwin in tandem will be some combo to watch together.

Well in the last two years he is picking up wickets and not giving away runs.

Yes. I am aware of that but IPL is an altogether different. Let's wait and watch. Finally something to cheer for our padosis after dip in form of Amla.

Don't they have Adam Zampa? He is a very good leg spinner too.

Particularly if their home pitches in IPL resemble anything similar to the wicket in 1st test .

No, they wont resemble that pitch at all.  In fact, if Pune curator had his say, it would have been a fast bowler friendly pitch but BCCI head curator Daljeet Singh came and changed the nature of the pitch.
