G_B_
Quote What’s the story? Virat Kohli might have missed the fourth Test with a shoulder injury but the fact that he was carrying drinks on day one has also come under scrutiny by former Australian Test players. Brendon Julian and World Cup-winning keeper Brad Haddin both questioned the reason why India’s captain across all formats was carrying drinks when he had an injury and should have had “ice” on his shoulder. "The one sight out there that was quite puzzling was Virat Kohli out there running some drinks. This is the captain that said, 'I can't actually play because I have a shoulder injury' out there running the drinks," Julian said. Brad Haddin added that while Kohli was trying to just be a team player, his move might have undermined Ajinkya Rahane’s captaincy. The former Australian wicketkeeper said: “I also think he’s good for the game and he's a world class batter, but what about Rahane. He (Rahane) was out there captaining the team and you don't want him running on because you know how big a personality he is in the change-room. It's his time to captain and what if he had different views on what Kohli has. Talk to him by all means in the change-room, but you're injured. Sit down and get some ice on your shoulder.” https://cricket.yahoo.com/news/former-australian-players-slam-virat-192200660.html Link to comment

kosingh
Former Australians are always noisy....but this series they've been mouthing off even more than what is typical for them. One more session, and they shall be buried. Link to comment
mancalledsting
Kohli allows dhoni to 'help' him with his captaincy in ODIs- even if it appears overbearing. In India we have a tradition of respecting our teachers/elders....culture difference vishalvirsingh and sandeep 2 Link to comment
rtmohanlal
these aussie players are generally hypocrites. They make a mountain out of mole .Unnecessarily involving in others matters so intensely and creating problems is in their blood.Otherwise why do they bother in the matter of Kohli carrying drinks? Doctored Wicket
Did a fantastic job carrying the drinks. Much better than his batting during the series. StriKe and JaFanatic 1 1 Link to comment
Sandeep99
Oh boy.. these Australians are ruffled by Kohli.. didn't think it was really the case before, but it is clear now.. they have some inferiority complex. TheWall 1 Link to comment
Texan
They seem to be suffering from Kohli-allergy. Link to comment
Vilander
the thing is they know, with the way Yadav/Bhuv are bowling with us telling all the time Shami is better, they know that when this indian team tours it wont be a straight forward pacy wicket and victory, it will be our turn to humiliate. Mariyam
These comments remind me of Prakash Raj from Singham https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQdVaTNozSU yeh to cheating hai. How can Kohli play so good and hit a few centuries against our hapless bowlers. sandeep 1 Link to comment
TheWall
Kohli has rattled the entire nation of convicts.... Link to comment
Riju23
Haha what a joke - only they could find this as a reason to criticize kohli. If roles were reversed and Smith did it there would be articles about how good of a team man he is hahaha TheWall and Mosher 2 Link to comment
Cricketics
I have been saying, Virat has been under their skin and this is the first time someone had frustrated them so much that they are still talking about him even after series is over lol. Adi_91, TheWall and Mosher 3 Link to comment

All this while they got away with all that **** by saying "what is said and done on the field stays on the Field"... But now thy are saying that there limits to what should be said on the field but the fact is they crossed the Limit long time back Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk TheWall 1 Link to comment

You only need to look at someone like Warner to know all you need to know. Never knew Aussie sledging manual had a protocol for carrying drinks to the field as well TheWall and HippoSucks 1 1 Link to comment
