Good start from Aaron. Looks like he is bowling well within himself. They didn't show his speeds for all his deliveries. Couple of balls he bowled at 135 and 137K. He will bowl quicker as he bowls more. No bad balls in the first over. Pretty accurate.

IPL official website is showing ball by ball speeds.

Aaron bowling 134 k to 139 k.

139 k has been a very common delivery.

He has bowled a good line and length so far and that has been very heartening.

Aaron is bowling within himself as he has no security/backing, No Indian central contract this year and his last IPL side RCB  also released him. If he messes things up now, it may lead to bowling 140-150k for few lakhs in domestic cricket in the physical prime of his career.

Agree. That's why a fast bowler needs to be supported a lot. Disappointed that he was removed from the central contract. Kohli likes fast bowlers, surprised that he didn't back him. Even though T20 is not Aaron's strong format, I am hoping that he just has a good IPL season and gets back in the reckoning. He will be more useful for test matches.

Aaron seems to have had a fallout with Kohli.  Out of RCB , not even being considered as a net bowler for Team India although all others are bowling in the nets .

I don't  know whether it is the perception that he is often unfit or it is something else.

But the recent events are worrying for Aaron fans.

IPL holds the key for him. He needs to perform really well.

Looks like Thampi can bat as well

His FC records show that he can Bat. Few useful knocks he has played. But has not got opportunity for batting in List  A and T20. Maybe a J Srinath type and certainly not like Venkatesh Prasad !!!!

Excellent match for Varun Aaron

2 wickets for only 21 runs in 4 overs

Bowled a good line and length and hit the deck hard.

Speeds 134 k to 145 k.

I have been pointing this out for quite some time that Aaron has become much more accurate in the last one year ( based on A team games and domestic matches ).   If he is included in team India atleast for test matches....he will perform better just like a more accurate Umesh is doing.

Aaron had a good 50 over VH Trophy too.
