sandeep
Good read on how the English "learnt" reverse swing. Shows how critical working" on the condition of the ball, along with knowing how to use it - Indian pacers were clueless about this until Zaheer Khan went to county cricket 10 years ago. This knowledge deficit was a big factor IMO in the performances of the Indian pacers vs others, especially greenbros, in the 1990s. Some of the things mentioned here - "nail hardener", sweater fuzz?, I mean, its an arms race out there. No wonder Faf was caught using the zipper. I think all teams are doing this to different degrees. And its something that's impossible to police, short of playing with brand new balls constantly, a la baseball. http://www.thecricketmonthly.com/story/1087925/reverse-swing--an-english-tale diga, tweaker and Ironhide 3 Link to comment

Watch them win a few more ODI games and pretend that they invented the art of modern day batting. Let alone the fact that they have never won an ODI world cup, and only become competitive in the last season or so. Link to comment
