How?

:shock:

:thinking:

i applied this formula that i took it from wiki  :fear:

horizontal_range_formula_1.png

horizontal_range_formula_2.png

R = horizontal range (m)

v0 = initial velocity (m/s)

g = acceleration due to gravity (9.80 m/s2)

θ = angle of the initial velocity from the horizontal plane (radians or degrees)

But dhoni defies gravity according to dhoni fans. :noidea:

So g = 0. Anything divided by zero is meaningless just like Dhoni's SIX. :noidea:

Even pujara was stopped in net practice for Sydney test, he was told '' you not selected for Sydney

You better go to hotel room''

Kohli wants him to Rotate strike more oftenly but CP was not doing in Australia, but now he is changed

He become kohli's best likeable batsman.it could also happen to MS but too late, saha with 3 test century CEMENT his position.

What a stumping of ABCD... in a flash...

:hatsoff:

Credit where it's due... only Dhoni can do these tight stumping... :nice:

Well I don't think anyone ever questioned his skills with regards to keeping against spin. It's his average to mediocre skills against pace bowling that drags him down. Not going for catches. Letting catches go through between him and first slip. Overall, makes him average to above average. Look at Saha, you will see a world of difference in keeping against fast bowlers. And he has upped his game as well against spinners too in recent times.

overall .. decent day for our man

1) slwoly coming back to form

2) hit a 114m six

3) superb fast stumping to get ABDV out

They showed top 5 biggest six the next match. At 5th position was 102m six. Dhoni's wasn't on the list.

Lmao it wasn't even 102m. :rotfl:

No way it can be less then 100m, credit where its due, those dumb statisticians waves each and every pony 70m sixes but couldn't measure that potential 105m six.

Bangalore is a small stadium. It might probably be less than 100 meter.

Dhoni can no longer take diving catches like Saha. I am referring to one diving catch Saha took in test series versus Aussies. Dhoni is nowhere as good with diving catches, he hardly dives full throttle in air. What DHoni is good at now as we saw with the stumping. That was quick and i haven't seen Saha do a stumping that quick.

seen gayle credited 100+m when it landed on the same roof ..

i visted once for international matches and few times for IPL .. they are bringing the ropes further inside for IPL games so that players can hit 6s more easily

Good to see Dhoni getting his touch back in time for CT. Let's see if he shows more consistency. But one thing for sure - Dhoni has to come in early and no. 4 position suits him best.

Actually, he needs to make way for youngsters in T20 in the next 5-6 months.There is some raw talent in the wings.T20 is all about sudden impact,not impact.Hopefully, he realizes this and moves out just like he did for Tests.

I'm not worried about T20 - agree he shouldn't play T20Is. I'm more concerned about CT and that in odis he has to play slightly up the order - probably at 4. He needs to get in early to get his eye in and is not going to go starting ball one.

Regardless of how well Dhoni does well in T20s he should retire from T20s.Pant looks exciting and T20 is a young man's game.

With next T20 world Cup in 2020 it's unlikely MSD will be around till then either.Pant should definitely replace in the T20 team.

As for ODIs ,Dhoni is still needed moreso for Champions trophy.Apart from Kohli MSD is the only one that can be trusted to shepeard a chase under pressure.Also can setup with a big hundreds with batting first.Yes Jadhav looks good but still untested outside India.

So MSD is essential for CT.His future after that can then be judged based on his form.

Preferably Pant should be played as Opener alongside Rohit or Dhawan and Dhoni in middle order alongside Jadhav at 5&6.
