Couldn't quite believe this statistic. They have never chased 300. Wow, just wow.

Their team has been full of hitters who don't/can't take quick singles for a while now. We and AUS chase so many 300+ scores because we are the best two teams at taking singles and doubles.

Way back in 2004 they successfully chased 298 at centurion vs Southafrica, for them

309 for 6 is greatest victory

Hafez played selfish innings, if India/Australia plays at same venue score might be 350/368.Anyway next two games at same venue, WI's last chance for WC qualification, which I doubt even they qualify after victory by even 3/0

Pakistan most likely to bounce back  in the series on 9th,but presently their ranking much more lower in ODI

Fun has just begin. If more or less same West Indies team that played against us is fielded against Pakistan in tests,Pakistan would have a lot of embarrassment coming their way. :hysterical:

Can't wait for the test series :aha:

I predicted that Windies would give Pak a hard time before they toured UAE - I knew that after playing against a better side (India), the windies test team was going to be a toughened unit who will compete hard.  Didn't expect them to come within 40 odd runs of winning the series though.

If Windies pacers get a wicket with a bit of bounce, they are going to give Misbah and Younis a send-off that 40 year old batsmen deserve.   Both oldies greedily hung on after the Australia and NZ debacles, because they wanted to "go out on a high".  Sometimes, karma turns into a total bitch and bites your old ass right off.
