King Tendulkar
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH looks good. He is our best seamer. Forget last few months whan injured, prior to that he was our best bowler for 6 to 8 months. Shame he is the worst fielder in international cricket Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH He is cert for WC. ZK, munaf and aggy will be our 3 seamers for starting line up. If we go for 4 and one spinner then Sree, pathan and co need to fight for it. Link to comment

Predator_05
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH ZK' date=' munaf and aggy will be our 3 seamers for starting line up. [/quote'] If they all can bowl upto 140 kmph and higher like Srinath, Zaheer and Nehra did 4 years ago - then India will be in business at the WC. Link to comment

gator
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH yeah... if u manage to digest the fact that speedguns in australia are a good 10 kph off..... and also the so-called potential fast bowler called Asif clocks 80 mph...... 88-89 mph is very pacy... on aussie speedguns, it will read 93.... King Tendulkar
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH I have been saying for near a year that he is our best seamer. A cert for WC. He has somethingn the others have which is real accuracy coupled with bounce due to his height. Shame he is the worst fielder in the world Link to comment
Sooda
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH Sree is not an ODI bowler. For whatever reason. He shouldn't even go to WC. Munaf has been our best ODI paceman for a while. Had he been fit in SAF...well..things wdve been different Link to comment
silentstriker
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH I wouldn't really characterize him as 'pacy'. Pacy to me is ability to consistently hit 90mph (mid nineties to be express). But you don't have to be pacy to be successful. Look at McGrath, and Pollock. Dev wasn't pacy either. Neither is Asif. Munaf is actually faster than most of the ones I listed above. International quality batsman cannot be hustled out by speed alone. It helps of course, but a much more important commodity is accuracy. Munaf had it today, and hopefully he can come back strong in England. His fielding is terrible, and that hurts in ODIs, but when playing Tests...as long as he can bowl accurately and catch well...he'll be a real asset. Link to comment
Bumper
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH Sreesanth is another Pathan in the making. Runstruck. Based on his performance on these flat decks ? Sreesanth relies on swing & seam movement, bowls at a fair pace. Fullish lengths in Saffie pitches worked great for him. But on these decks, he has to adjust his length a bit on the shorter side. He needs to hit the deck more like Munaf to keep the batsman quiet. He is a quick learner, he will bowl well in better pitches. Link to comment
King
Re: Munaf - Very pacy - Mid to high 80 MPH Sree is a good bowler but like the rest lacks consistency in ODIs. Needs a bit more experience and variety to be really effective. Link to comment
