Depending on the form of batsmen I would replace Rohit with Rahul as an opener or slot in Pandey. The one worry i have is that all of Rohit, Kohli, Rahul and Rana have succeeded when they batted in Top 3 but obviously not everyone can do so and you only have two slots. No idea what Rana will do if he has to bat lower down the order coz Kohli should bat at 3. Yeah I would only pick one out of Rohit/Rahul. Rohit takes a lot of time getting in. I will still have him in the squad or play him when the matches are on pitches where average score is in 140-170 range. On a batting patta like today's replace him with someone else. Yup and the rebuild should start as soon as CT is done. in fact I would prefer Yuvraj and Rahane are not picked and we get likes of Pant, Pandey and maybe Rana in there but I don't have too much faith in our selectors who tend to go backwards. Se have not given him chance in 50 overs yet I rate Hooda as a hitter higher than Nitish Rana and Krunal Pandya. In fact, if Hardik Pandya's bowling goes bad, than i will like to try Hooda as a batsman for him in 50 overs as a proper hitter. Hooda is a really consistent striker of te ball for a long time and could even turn out to be better hitter in international cricket.
