So he's not good enough to play on merit and form but he has to be picked to "mentor" others. If that's the criteria may as well bring Duncan Fletcher back and we all saw how well Ind performed under their joint guidance on tour whitewashes in Aus and Eng. Dhoni can take his guidance and shove it up his azz.If he does not perform with bat he will be kicked out by Kohli. He hasn't got enough chance in IPL, but he is superb. Might not b the right choice in ODIs, but in t20s he deserves to b a strong contender. Should also walk into the test team in place of Nair. He still has 5-6 yrs of cricket left in him. Coming to Dhoni, no he doesn't deserve a place in team India..neither in ODIs nor in T20Is. Dhoni shouldn't be on plane to CT not just based on this IPL, but based on his ODI and T20I batting in last 2-3 years when he has lost more matches for India than won. Then whole csk saga where he lied about the role of gurunath. Just told me that this guy does have a very political and sly side. Say what u may about kohli. He is a **** captain but I don't think he will get involved in these off field activities.
