Re: Mahabharat/Ramayan thread

try this: Who brought to an end Bheema's pride of his own strength?
Hanuman. He presented himself as an old monkey and lay in Bheem's path in the forest. Bheem asked him to move out of the way, Hanuman said no. Hanuman said if you can move my tail, I'll move out of the way. Bheem couldn't even lift Hanuman's tail and realised that this was no ordinary monkey. Hanuman presented himself in his real form and Bheem asked for Hanuman's support in the impending battle againt Kauravs. Hanuman said he would provide strength to Pandavs by being present in the flag their chariots would have.

Re: Mahabharat/Ramayan thread Ashwatthama hato naro wa kunjaro.. PEople spread lies that ashwatthama is dead dronacharya siad he will believe only when yudhisthir confirms this news. YUdhisthir was unwilling to lie after seeing this krishana gave instruction to bheema to kill an elephant name ashwatthama.. After that yudhisthir volunteered to tell a partial lie.. words were "ashwatthama hato naro wa kunjaro" (meaning ashwattham maraa gaya he may be an elephaent or a man).. but krishana used his conch's noise to suppress the naro wa kunjaro part.. After this dronacharya put his weapon down and went into samadhi.. Dhristadyman draupadi's brother chopped his head off while was in weapon-less trance state

Re: Mahabharat/Ramayan thread Krishna and some of the Pandavs posed as rishimunis and entered his kingdom. Jarasandha met them as was the custom of his kingdom. When Jarasandha realised who they were, he challenged Bheem to a battle. Bheem killed him by tearing him apart and throwing the two halves of his body in opposite directions.(because Jarasandha was like T1000 and parts of his body joined when they were separated) Krishna played a major role apart from Bheem by snapping a twig in half and throwing the two halves in opposite direction hinting Bheem to do the same with Jarasandha.
