Sandeep Sharma!!!

The guy was our best bowler in u-19s and won us the u-19 WC. He has continued to perform in domestic cricket where he has consistently been one of the best bowlers. And over the last 3 IPLs he has been one of the best, if not the best, Indian pacer during PP with low ER and picking up crucial wkts. Today Sandeep took out Gayle, Kohli and ABDV in a single spell showcasing his skill and proving why he's one of the best young Indian pacers around. Surely deserves to be part of the Indian setup. Would be an ideal foil to Bhuvi and Bumrah in the PP overs where he can strangle the opposition and nipping out a wkt or two :agree:

Shami ki jagah to sabse pehle banti hai

Then umesh has been quite ok in odi

Sran is another bowler who is a good potential and needed left armer

Then there is Thampi whose pace will help on dead surface which ull find 10 out of 10 times in odi, Sandeep needs spicy pitches which ull hardly find

Rajpoot who is a tall hit the deck hard intelligent bowler, the variety we need to

Many in line before him.....dnt need another similar type of bowler to bhuvi who is actually lesser than him

Need diff types of bowlers in ODI.......

Sandeep shud be at max a backup to bhuvi .

These days u need hit the deck bowlers more than the one who releases in air

Bhuvi is a different bowler and can bowl at the death and middle overs. Sandeep is a beast bowling up front with the new ball during PP. You need someone who can clamp down the opponent the way Vaas used to do for SL. If Sandeep keeps the leash during PP and picks a couple of wkts, we have likes of Bhuvi and Bumrah to keep the lid on the opponent rest of the innings :agree:

And if there's any help for the pacers, Sandeep is one of the best at nipping batsmen out.

He will get killed in international cricket......god!!!

Indian cricket is moving forward with 5-6 pool of bowlers who can hit 140+ and you want a super trundler in the side.....well it's ok if he has other uses like batting and fielding but NO....No more trundlers please.

He will be killed in internationals, no height no pace no bounce average accuracy all he has is swing which only lasts for 2 overs, he is shyte in death overs and sprays it even with that trundling pace, he is just plain mediocre, we have pool genuinely fast bowlers now who all deserves a chance then sandip, so a BIG NO we don't won't to go back to stone age by selecting sindip sharma

If performances don't count for anything we may as well stop playing domestic cricket and select bowlers in a bowling camp where the fastest ones get in. Then we can have likes of Aaron in the team across all formats who can't bowl 6 balls on a consistent line & length and get flogged. But hey he bowls at 140 kph :giggle:

Been saying since years that Sandeep is brilliant and will make up a greatbowler if tried in English conditions and even other places.

Praveen did well in UK and Sandeep can do well for us in UK too.

Also even on flat tracks, he can bowl well as he got variations.

Yes others are ahead but it is good to have big pool of players and rotate them. That is how it works now in international cricket and Sandeep should be part of that pool.

Couldn't agree more. Nobody is asking Sandeep to start every game but to be part of the Indian setup so he's part of the bowlers who get to play games and step up when required.

Chopra: Lack of pace makes Sandeep look deceptively innocuous

Hits nail on its head. Batsmen does take him lightly and that gets him wickets a lot of times. Example yesterday.

Exactly batsmen does take him lightly for his lack of pace and some how throws their wickets, something similar to what we did with moin Ali, we did took him lightly ending up him to be highest wicket taker in that test series in our last England tour lol 👍👍
