Nearly four years ago in a Shield game, Lynn was struck in the lower region by Test paceman Doug Bollinger. What followed was every man’s nightmare. “He was bowling and I tried to hit him out of the stadium,” Lynn told news.com.au. “I inside-edged one up into my box and ruptured my testicle.” Lynn’s excruciating injury forced him to hospital to reduce swelling, but doctors eventually deemed the blow too severe to cure and made the final, chilling call to remove his testicle.
