You asked a question if he is looking better...the answer is yes ...i.e if wkts matter more than speed gun readings.

We are discussing performance in ipl right now.

Right?

Thats the thing that talent shudnt be spotted like this

CRicket is a simple game

For a bowler simple look how he bowls, what he bowls, what is his skill set. So simple watch the ball not stats

So by that logic thampi one yorker look better than all these trundler any delivery in IPL.

Avesh khan 1st ball to samson.....none of the unadkat sandeep have been able to bowl a single ball like that which made u say who is this guy

Agar talent spotting stats se hi hota to har paper padhne wala selector hota......right?????

Sran can't get a match in srh.

Kulwant was not considered good enough to play .

Nathu hasn't played 3 games in a row.

Sangwan hasn't set the field on fire.

Aniket ..well he hasn't earned kohli's confidence.

Thampi showed promise but sprays.

The two guys who have done something worth noticing are Siraj and Rajpoot.

Why do you guys just hype guys based on 1-2 overs .....?

Give them time .

Nathu got injured after bowling really well in 2 games.

Aniket C is a test prospect..... not supposed to be good in T20Is.

I don't think Sangwan is an international prospect as of now. Lacks skills.

Thampi's skills are being discussed by most commentators and not just ICF.

Avesh showed today that being ignored by the team management does not mean a bowler is bad.....same may apply to Khejroliya.

IPL performances hardly show how good a bowler is going to be in tests or ODIs and most of the pacers being discussed are thought to be either test or ODI prospects. They are being discussed in the IPL forum simply because the IPL is going on now and there guys are seen bowling to top batsmen.

Well in that case u update ur info

Sran has been out from injury from an year, he has not played competitive cricket for long. So no team will risk him. He needs rhythem and we are talking about a bowler who bowled n impressed everyone on international circuit

Nathu, Aniket, Thampi have already been called by kumble n kohli to train with national team few mnths. Do u think this tamasha cricket wud change their mind. Kumble already said we are looking at these bowlers

Nathu have been touted by gambhir, dravid, yuvraj , mcgrath as next big thing. How many youngsters have got praise like him all around . About fitness anybody can become unfit.

Hasnt bhuvi gotten unfit quite a few times in last few yrs.....am i right?????

Sanghwan hasnt set IPL on fire.......again ill quote yuvraj singh from a duleep trophy game when he said keep an eye on his he really hits the deck n bat hard. Now sanghwan doesnt play for punjab. Stats may not be in his favour but commentators have been impressed with him

Aniket was troubling kohli in nets, he is long format bowler. We were never touting him as LOI bowler. For that we have always named Kulwant, sanghwan , Sran

Thampi has shown potential- yes coz it 1st season. Since when did we got finished product in 1st season

About spray - well pace is not easy to control . Trundler have control coz they dnt pace....add pace to them their control wud go something even bhuvi suffered when he increased his pace. These guys are way faster. Also thampi has played only one season so mcgrath type perfomance were u expecting. Yet he has gotten everyone excited in cricketing circuit. How many bowlers have gottena chance to train with national squad after only playing one season.

OK Now let me come to this word hype

Hype- when have we said this n this guys is next akram n mcgrath or lee, bond. Never have any. If someone wud have said that was hype

Spotting - Its not called its called spotting, we have just been spotting talent who can play at next level

People shud understand the diff between hype n spotting .

If thats the mistake we do i have put names of cricketers in bold who have done the same.....they deserve equal amount of blame

In case of fast bowlers many countries have fast tracked fast bowlers rather wasting in domestic. Specially our neighbouring nations coz they share similar dead pitches.

yes coz we have gotten a chance to see what they can do na.......unfortunately t20 is a ruthless format the likes of steyn have been smashed like anything

We discuss coz we get to see their pace, bounce, control, variation , seam movement, swing , length they bowl.

BCCI doesnt telecast domestic games with proper speed guns for us to have discussion

It's based on potential, you have to understand or played the game or have common sense , bowlers like Unadkat r found in every local side in Australia, no pace, stamina, fitness, agression, will Bhuvi, Sandeep, Unadkunt be able to bowl a single ball like Avesh did on a flat deck?

Domestic speed guns are unreliable.

IPL Speed guns are also unreliable. Too many bowlers showing up as 140. The fastest ball I saw bowled by Avesh Khan was timed at only 134.
