The big hits look good if there's some skill involved. On a flat patta where teams are scoring 200-220 and every batsman looks like Viv Richards re-incarnated the big hits lose their charm. That can be used as a counter argument too. On a bowler friendly wicket, a decent bowler can look like a McGrath or a Warne.
