The Realist
After another terror/jihadi attack in the UK should Ind reconsider its participation? Don't see how safety can be guaranteed for players and fans in places like London, Birmingham, Manchester etc when the jihadi menace is everywhere from taxis to take-aways. Plus there will be a national election at the same time as the tournament which has its own security risks. Scary. mishra, GoldenSun and nevada 2 1 Link to comment
asterix
England toured India just after a big terror attack. I hope the security will be top class., MechEng, Ultimate_Game, adi B and 3 others 6 Link to comment
Nikhil_cric
England toured us in 08/09 after Mumbai terror attacks. Don't think we should pull out . rageaddict, Gollum, MechEng and 4 others 7 Link to comment
BeautifulGame
No. They stood along side us when we needed them after 26/11 It's an opportunity to repay for that with gratitude. We owe them that to say the least. Maybe if players are worried ask our security experts to assess the situation and their security and demand any security changes necessary. sandeep, King Tendulkar, Vilander and 5 others 8 Link to comment
Forever Indian
If this became a trend then we would have no teams touring any other countries. Except maybe Antartica no country is safe enough these days. Except in cases where Cricketers were specifically targeted (like what happened with SL cricketers in Pak), I don't think pull out should happen IMO. These terrorists' main agenda is to create fear and we should not be helping their agenda. Link to comment
mishra
I dont support a pull out from BCCI but PCB have a genuine a case here. Also Bong fans need to ask Morgan and Co too who refused a tour on security grounds Link to comment
kira
Like everyone mentioned, England toured us after the mumbai attacks so we owe them, if it was some other country ( even australia) then I would've have agreed because they need to be taught a lesson for the recent vote against BCCI Gollum 1 Link to comment

It doesn't matter if it was ISIS or AQ or some other british pakistani retard, it was a suicide attack, we know who specializes in suicide bombing, things will become clear in a few days, it wasn't an accidental blast so most likely to be a jihadi attack. Rightarmfast
The british bombed us for hundreds of years. If we survived that, how bad could this be? Link to comment
Gollum
They toured India after 26/11 and were supposed to stay in Taj Mumbai for a test there. When we were mourning they were there for us, I will never forget their unbelievable gesture. More reasons to tour there now and repay their kind act. Zero_Unit
^ THIS!! These Terrorists (be it those jihadi b@stards or not) needs to get a life. Link to comment
spe11binder
Some pathetic people in Cricinfo and social media are using yesterday's horrific incident for mere point scoring and making jokes about Eoin Morgan pulling out etc. We, being a victim of foreign terrorism ourselves, should show full solidarity with the UK and it's people at this hour. BCCI has already expressed their written concern to ICC, and has been assured of taking every measure possible to ensure safety and security of the players. SO things should and will go on as planned. Vilander, Forever Indian, GoldenSun and 3 others 6 Link to comment
Ultimate_Game
As folks above have rightly pointed out the English team continued their tour when the Mumbai attack happened and we should reciprocate in kind. If we have to opt out it should be coz of ICC robbing BCCI and not coz of the recent incident. Edited May 23, 2017 by Ultimate_Game Vilander 1 Link to comment
Vilander
PCB might want to pullout because of security threat as they would be itching to give it back.. Link to comment
Khota
Though the empire mistreated us with the ICC saga we have to show solidarity after this. You cannot let these vermin terrorist disrupt cricket matches. India should stand with England at this time. This is the time the world needs to be united.
