Zoranovic
Two brilliant talents but it's Amla for mine. The guy is a freak. Broke Kohli's first to 7000 runs by 11 innings overnight. No doubt Kohli has played some mighty innings over the years however for consistency, impact and leadership, I'd take Amla over Kohli in my ODI team. What does everyone else think? I was reading this morning that Kohli has been troubled by a young English net bowler called Albinose Appleyard(pictured) in warm ups; some 4th Grade Flogshire plodder. I don't like Kohli's chances against a seaming ball Applelyard 1 Link to comment

Tibarn
It's not even close, Kohli. Amla is a legendary choker. Link to comment
nevada
Kohli for me. Clutchest chaser plus him being at the crease means batter at other end gets more scoring opportunities - a fact pointed out by Kedar Jadhav. Link to comment
chewy
Amla and ABDV, two biggest chokers gong around in world cricket...SA ain't going to win anything big in ODIs or T20i with these two in the team. Link to comment
Cricketics
Chase like the man called Kohli and then one can compare. You can be a run machine for your team but can't be compared to the great Kohli unless you have lead your team to crazy chases like Kohli. Kohli is way ahead. But that said, I have great respect for Amla. He is a legend of the game. Anyone who has played 100 tests and scored that many runs in ODIs amd Tests, deserves accolades. Zoranovic 1 Link to comment

Zoranovic
A lot of posters ignoring Amla has surpassed Kohli's record of fastest 5000, 6000 and 7000 ODI runs. Amla is fast catching up to Bevan as the greatest ODI player of all time Link to comment
