Yuvraj's knee

Star Cricket just showing clips from training drills today. Yuvraj has been apparently having some knee problems - was playing the warmup games with a brace and a strap around his knee, and took a nasty fall. There was some footage of him rolling on the ground and looking in serious pain, and then hobbling a bit when he got up - one of Gavaskar/Bhogle also said that he's refused to have surgery on the knee. Yikes.

Breaking news : Yuvraj Singh injures his left knee, out for 3 months !
Cricinfo says it was a soccer game. Footage says otherwise, looks like they were tossing around a rugby ball/Aussie football. :D [An entire Ashes series was lost because of a rugby practice session. When will people learn not to play it?]

Yep....
Yuvraj in clear after football injury
5 hours ago PERTH, Australia (AFP) — Dropped Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh has been cleared of serious injury after hurting his knee playing football. Yuvraj collapsed holding his left knee while playing with team-mates before the opening session on day two of the ongoing third Test against Australia and there were immediate fears his tour could be over. At first it seemed he would be ruled out of the fourth Test in Adelaide and could even miss the subsequent one-day international tri-series. The 26-year-old, who was sidelined for three months after injuring the same knee in 2006, was taken to a local hospital for scans and was cleared of any major damage, according to a team spokesman. He is expected to be able to resume training in a couple of days. Yuvraj came into the series with a big reputation but has failed to deliver with the bat, making just 17 runs at 4.25 in the first two Tests, and was dropped for Virender Sehwag for the third Test.

Yuvraj cleared of serious injury, to resume training in 2 days Press Trust Of India Perth, January 17, 2008 The Indian cricket team heaved a sigh of relief as middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh was today cleared of any serious injury after twisting his knee in a practice session. Yuvraj, who has been dropped from the ongoing third Test against Australia here, hurt his knee before the start of second day's play, making him doubtful for the fourth and final match of the series in Adelaide. However, a medical exemination of the 26-year-old player at a local hospital cleared him of any serious injury. The left-hander is likely to start training again in the next couple of days. Yuvraj has had a nightmarish tour so far, failing in the first two Tests, as well as in the practice game at Canberra before being made to sit out in the ongoing Test. http://www.hindustantimes.com/StoryPage/StoryPage.aspx?id=05bd498c-7a90-469a-81d5-79c81be88a11&MatchID1=4627&TeamID1=1&TeamID2=6&MatchType1=1&SeriesID1=1165&PrimaryID=4627&IsCricket=true&Headline=Yuvraj+cleared+of%26nbsp%3b+injury%2c+to+resume+training
