Well the defeat has sunk in a bit now even so will try to be as subjective as possible.

 

Dhawan-9/10 -Only 1 failure but the guy has looked like a million bucks,did nothing wrong.Raised his game when it mattered.even in the failure,looked good but can't blame him for getting out as there was immense pressure at the other end.

 

Rohit Sharma-7/10-Left armer bowling away using the angle and bringing 1 back in is the oldest trick in the book,really mad that he fell for it.Apart from that did well in most games.Right now not the real problem.Also coming back from an injury,adjusted well.

 

Virat Kohli-5.5/10.Where do I start.Batted well most games,so no complain there but....clueless captaincy at times.Where has that passion and aggression gone Virat? call me biased or sensitive but that final presentation video and that smile to Amir have clouded my judgement. 5.5, if  my mood fluctuates 6 but that's about it.

 

Yuvraj Singh-4/10-One good knock but never looked comfortable in the middle. His fielding has been a liability and the fact that he doesn't bowl any more makes me question his place.As I said even in that 1 good knock,never looked to be in prime control and even if he gets 10 chances straight,there will be 1 or 2 special innings reminding us of Yuvi of old but will bet my house on it that he will fail in the remaining 8.Might bash WI though but doesn't belong in the side anymore.

 

Dhoni-5/10-Solid Keeping.Also stepped in to captain at times-good or bad is for you to decide.1 average knock.didn't get to bat a lot ,so giving him a very liberal score of 5 just for his keeping.

 

Jadhav- 5/10 Sue me again but always maintained the guy doesn't look international standard.His fielding is embarrassing. In fact his bowling is embarrassing as well but got wickets so no complain but whoever got out to him should be banned from cricket.Very Sunday league level bowler. As far as batting goes did well in the only chance he got and failed once,so will give him a pass here but as I said there is something missing here.Also 30 years old,don't think he has a lot to offer.

 

Pandya- 9/10-A superstar is born.The guy is the real deal,watch out for him. Finally sold.Bowling needs some work.One of the cleanest hitters in the side. A livewire in the field.Should have been 8 but gets that extra point as he looks like the only guy on the field who wanted to win at any cost.Need players like this and we will be set.

 

Jadeja-4/10-Passenger in the side.Can't bat.mediocre bowler.Fielding and that run out in the first game gets him that extra point.

 

Ashwin-2/10-Another passenger.Become toothless with the ball,can't bat and sloth in the field

 

Bumrah-7/10-That noball will haunt him for now,but damn even in the final was going full throttle,hitting almost 150's.Brilliant death bowler and apart from that no ball,fantastic LOI bowler

 

Bhuvi 8/10-Template for every Indian fast bowler.Had skills,discipline but always criticized for lack of pace but has improved his pace and bowls in the 140's now,can get the ball to seam. Hope to see big things from him

 

Yadav-6/10- Story of his career-One brilliant game,One poor game.Need to develop consistency still but looks the most threatening of the Indian bowlers whenever on song

 

Shami-N/A-Didn't get a chance,so no ranking but bonus marks for showing some passion even though should have kept cool.Based on what we saw of some players,yes his passion earns some brownie points.

 

Rahane- -1/10-Shouldn't have been there to begin with so gets a -1. i like him as a test cricketer so getting away with -1.

 

Karthik -5/10-Gets a -1 every time he has appeared on my screen.What the hell is he doing in the team in 2017

Agree with most of OP's marks except a few.

 

Yuvraj 3/10 (His 50 was after a drop, was struggling out there most of the time; poor fielder; not bowling  anymore)

 

Jadhav 2/10 (mediocre against good attacks and worst fielder we have had in ages; bowling is pure tukka)

 

Ashwin 2/10 (test specialist, doesn't look fit to me...how did he even pass the fitness test?)

 

Bumrah 5/10 (was good only against South Africa; I feel his days are numbered, novelty factor fading fast; match losing no ball for the 2nd time in 2 major ICC events)

 

Kohli 0/10 (batted decently well in 2 matches but went missing in the finals as he so often does, esp when chasing a big total against a good bowling unit; less we talk about his team selection and captaincy tactics the better because I don't want to go down that route again; his behind the scenes drama with Kumble must have harmed team atmosphere; his ass kissing of Pakistanis and kindergarten style giggles and laughs after getting humiliated in the worst possible way in the 2nd grandest stage of them all left me heartbroken)

 

And thanks @maniac for not rating Rohit 10/10, must have been difficult for you.

Ashwin doesnt even merit a 3

 

 

Ashwin took one wicket in 3 matches and went over nearly 7 in both knock out games.Dropped catches and awful fielding as well.

 

He was our worst player this tournament by distance

Can't punish Bumrah for that 1 noball...the guy is bowling at 145+ consistently and never looked easy

Jadhav- yes he is mediocre but didn't have a lot of chances to show his mediocrity...he is not a bowler and an embarrassment but still got good returns and with the bat had only 1 failure...so benefit of doubt

 

Rohit would have gotten 10 but took away 4 points based on the final...yes that's how pissed off I am...then realized his stellar fielding and added 1 back giving him 7

Even after this we have reached finals, tells you the quality of opponents we have faced through out the tournament.
