SK_IH
Honeymoon period over, time for real teat.He has made the situation now where every success will be ascribed to him and for very loss he gonna take full on criticism.whatever may be the case i dont know what happened between kohli and kumble, one thing is sure Virat is big climbdown from dhoni, virat comes across as immature which is surprising as when he talks he looks very sensible and when he is batting also looks very mature headed but deep down as an individual he is immature and childish to an extent i must say. also it was very different to see the way lead in ct 2017,he was reluctant to change which is complete opposite of how he leads test match where he chnages every match. all in all virat you brought this on yourself ,now he has to show what he has done was worth it. sscomp32, Tendu_10, Unstable Joe and 3 others 6 Link to comment
rahulrulezz
Virat Kohli is the most passionate indian cricket player. When he is on the field, the guy put ms Indian flag on his heart He has been the best indian captain so far: He has the highest winning ratio of test matches. Got india the longest match winning streak in the history of test cricket. He got india back to rank 1 He got india its first genuine fast bowling attack He got india to finals in the champions trophy at first attempt Stop hating this guy. He is our last hope after Sachin but the amount of hate from Dhoni worshippers towards himis so annoying. sscomp32, Rasgulla, Tendu_10 and 4 others 4 3 Link to comment

coffee_rules
He has come out looking like a dick now. Not BFFing with the coach, deleting welcome tweets, katti with the coach and now having him fired. He has backed his punjabi yaaro even in IPL and look what it turned out for the RCB-Yuvi experiment. Now, with some few slogs, he is backing oldies, unlike Dhoni who got the oldies out of the ODI team as soon as he became kaptaan. Tendu_10, Yoda-esque, cricbuz and 5 others 8 Link to comment
Lannister
For me, a captain should always perform and lead by the example. You rarely saw that with Dhoni. So, no, Virat is already a better captain than Dhoni, but I think given time he will be more matured. Laaloo, sscomp32, South_Paw and 6 others 3 6 Link to comment
Popular Post Pollack
Kohli's arrogance and immaturity was known to everyone. But the perception was he keeps it on the field against opposition. But it is slowly dawning he is same off the field also. Completely back Kohli on brainfade incident of smith but saying he is not friends with Aussies in press conference is childish. Over the top drama on and off field is becoming common recurrence now. He needs to calm down. He is such an awesome batsman but he is not showing maturity. Maybe he should get married. Lmao. South_Paw, sscomp32, velu and 8 others 11 Link to comment
Shunya
Nope... Virat is still the wonderboy of Indian team. He is a kickass batsman and will be finishing as all time greatest ODI player ever. No doubt about it. Captaincy, however, is a different ball game altogether. He has lot to learn and I m sure he is. Popular Post vipin
My theory - A lot of those mature team selection and tactical decisions in the test series were actually Kumble's. Lately, as the communication broke down, we saw more of the real Kohli at work. What I did not like about his captaincy - 1) Favoritism with the selection of Yuvraj and Ashwin at crucial junctures. Especially Ashwin in the final. While 70+ posters at ICF could predict that the spinners are going to get tonked against Pakistan, and likes of Shami and Umesh would be much more successful, Kohli could not 2) Poor tactical decisions on the field at crucial junctures Edited June 22, 2017 by vipin nevada, Tendu_10, Lannister and 7 others 10 Link to comment
Temujin Khaghan
on one hand Pakistanis are playing amir who has sold his country in the black market for a few bucks and hailing him as national hero and we cannot tolerate a little attitude from the best batsman in the world? Rightarmfast
I wouldn't be surprised if somehow Dhoni is behind all this. That guy is a born politician. Had no hesitation with Srinivas, now I feel set Virat up and would have somehow created a rift between kumble and virat. His tactics on the field, playing ashwin and jadeja could have only come from dhoni. It would have been dhoni all along. sscomp32, Mystique_Myth, SK_IH and 7 others 4 6 Link to comment

SandeepMotta
People also seem to forget that kohli was against the inclusion of kuldeep yadav in the australian series. He only played because of kumble insisting. Unstable Joe 1 Link to comment
