https://www.beingindian.com/news/this-delhi-man-met-the-worst-fate-after-he-asked-teens-to-not-play-cricket-on-road

This is the story of a 22-year-old Delhi man, who met the worst fate after he did something which seemed trivial until yesterday - Telling a group of teens to no play cricket on the road.

Angad Gupta was walking on the road in North Delhi's sabzi mandi area when a cricket ball hit him in the stomach. Irked, he approached the teenagers playing cricket and requested them to shift to a nearby playground.

However, the 'advice' didn't seem to go down well with the group of teens.

The matter got intensified when the duo started arguing and Angad ended up slapping one of the teens. The group pinned him down to the ground and through locals' intervention, let him go.

Sadly, the matter didn't end here.

Two teens from the group were outright furious and cornered him the second time in a lane where Angad was out for a stroll.

They picked up a fight again and attacked him with a bat.

This is what the police official reported:

They hit him with the bat on their head. They hit him twice and Gupta collapsed on the ground. He started bleeding from his mouth. The boys then fled from the spot.

After Angad collapsed on the ground, the locals rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead. The teens who had attacked him frantically fled the scene.

One of the senior police officials said:

He sustained a head injury, which led to his instant death. We sent the body for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. We registered an FIR under sections of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The teens have been nabbed by the police officials and they will be presented before the juvenile justice board.

The intolerance level is so much and we wonder how can a simple request snowball into a gruesome death.

Makes me feel bad for deforestation, air, land and water pollution, wild life and animal extinction, etc. going on to support such a group of population (the real pollution)

Worst in India is a fender bender on street. Your car touches another vehicle, thats it

..People give itni gaalis, in front of kids, imagine if you cause injuries or worse death, even if it is not your fault...one gets lynched. Sad, but, true.
