terrific innings by Reeza Hendricks yesterday 173 off 145 but ordinary batting but AFG.11 out of 15 players are from their international team,they can not read shamsi's Googly from 166 for 4 

dismissed whole team for 6 more runs.

 

my only interest left in the game for Final between  two better team

SA A has 2nd bonus point win the series as they defeat AfgA by 164 runs by dismissing AfgA for just 172 after scoring 336/5. As I said matches between IndA and SA A will matter only and IndA needs to improve their performance.

These games are for player development and discovery.

 

More than the game results, what matters is which of our players are doing well.

Nair is a quality player , just needs to tighten up his game 

Good him n iyer are given chances to open against moving ball as they are test prospects

Played an unbeaten cameo of 18  not out off only 8 balls with a huge 6

 

Very handy seamer-all-rounder who should be kept as a back-up for Hardik in ODIs

Its all about giving everyone chance and what better chance then opening in 50 over format

am talking about these mediocre slow inning at top,we made him open even in zim,what is need of having openers who play like this opening

i dont remember the squad for this tour but ishan kishan should be opening for ind a in future ,what are we achieving with karun as opener

Delight to watch K Pandya, M Pandey and V Shankar shaping up nicely. 

Would prefer K Pandya over Hooda since hooda's is not much of a bowler. In fact his action is also suspicious.

If only Indian management prepare them for 2019 WC by international level exposure. But here are we stuck with dhoni, Yuvraj, jadeja, ashein, rahane etc in ODI's

Ishan kishen is not there, so no point talking about him. I want him to open as well

 

Nair is player in Rahane mould but with a lot more strokes and less tighter game. Even i think the best place for Nair tvo bat wud be opening, now he may not be considered as opener in future. But keeping this tour in mind u have to see the resources avl. Middle order is already jam packed for this squad. Nair is being looked as test prospects so playing new ball and many overs will help his game only. This tour is not only about filling loopholes but developing player. If he failed before doesnt mean u give up on a talented player like him, if a guy can score 300 batting at 6 he must have some talent. Odi are all about getting ur game plan right, nair just has to understand that which rahane has failed till date. And he is much better then Mandeep who is in current squad , who wud have opened otherwise
