Golden opportunity for India to defeat aus in 2019 ODI series, it's much easier to do so in 3 match series. Hope we do it this time around.

2019 WC in June/July?

And also the March 2018 slot looks empty. Need to fill it up with a good series.

There were talks of a quadrangular Independence cup..what happened to that?

Aida cup in 2018 and nothing is decided yet :facepalm:Asian cricket council has become useless..

no need... they can rest for a month before the hectic IPL... they have the tough England series after that. They can sacrifice some TV revenue for a good shot of winning in England after the pathetic batterings we've had in 2011 and 2015 by going in fresher.

Same old...same old. Why cant they have few tri series or 4 nations tournaments like we used to have 90s? Bring back those independence cup, Coca Cola cup, Titan Cup kinda tournaments.

Cricket outside ICC tournaments is pretty boring these days TBH.

Also no Asian rivalry is making it worse. We don't play with Pak, dnt play much with BD and SL sucks in terms of quality.

Watching regular tours of Eng & Aust and getting thrashed is Meh!

Why are they playing these meaningless Bilateral ODIs... they could be going to SA 2/3 weeks before the first Test and play some warm up games.. F'ing idiots

These "meaningless" games make money for BCCI. Otherwise, board will go bankrupt. Tests dont rake in money. They are hardly watched outside the hardcore fan base and even they follow the scores mostly.

Tri-nation tournaments for ODIs would have been better from every angle..... whether it is fan-interest or BCCI making money.

We could easily have had an ODI tournament between India, Australia and NZ after this.
