Countdown to Dhoni's 10K ODI run !!!

Recommended Posts

first ballot in all time ODI XI - unreal player and how he has evolved despite everyone's dislike of his inability to get going from ball 1. Will still play a role in WC 2019 from my perspective.

Dhoni in 257 innings and 392 runs away.....well will do it before many top order batsman in that list above

Now diff is On many occasions overs would have been finished were he cud have scored more when he was not out ........and most top order batsman generally gets lot more overs

Well among his 11 innings

one game in West indies washed out

one game in West indies were overs got finished

One game he lost for he deserves criticism  .......

So basically in among 9 games He played a huge role in winning the game 4 times and in one game against SL in CT he did well which means performed 5 out of 9 games......

So the next time someone with no sense of cricket gives an argument show these numbers

There should be another countdown thread to predict when he's going to suddenly announce his retirement.  Just like he did for tests.

IMO ts going to be before 2019 WC.  I would say 1st quarter 2018.

maybe 2 years after 2019 wc .. his average for this year is his highest ever calendar average , probably about to hit his peak

Average?  Who the F gives a S about that?  Even the biggest Dhoni fan will admit that his batting skills and effectiveness have declined considerably.

We are talking about his retirement from Team India. Let me guess you are a CSK fan.  He can keep wearing that yellow lungi for another 4 years easily.
