Hope we see Divyansh Joshi  in U19 teams ASAP.

I think he is more of a batsman who bowls. This game was played in raipur against chattisgarh. He batted in top 6, bowled very less, only played 2-3 matches. But he seems to have potential as a bowler.

A batsman who bowls at such high pace   !

He should take bowling seriously .... has the potential to be a really quick bowler.

Pacer-allrounder means fast-tracking to senior team too.

See my above post.

Prerak Mankad seems to be a decent seam alrounder from Saurashtra. Made his debut last season averaged 50 odd. played good innings of 68 here too.  Also has an SR of 140 in T20s and 110 in List A.  He is some one to keep any eye on.

seems to be domestic level, or A level at most.

This kid looks good, very good action, n generates pace n bounce, looks a natural.

apparently a batsman who bowls "a bit". he should really switch disciplines.

If this is not his strongest skill then this kid has to be a terrific bat, no wonder Indians don't nurture all rounders whereas other sides know their value n promote n take care of them

it could be more a case of misidentifying talent, which is something that happens quite often. ashwin and kumble were batsman who bowled, and they changed disciplines later.

He just debuted last season, can't judge, too soon, but need to keep an eye. He does come across as an aggressive player. Played well on this tough pitch too.

He hasn't been that good with bat. He still has a lot of time  16-17 only.

Poor start to the season. There is lots of competition with a much larger pool of good young fast bowlers now. He needs to make it count this season, if he wants to make a comeback.

Rkt Bhai Dil tod Diya, hope it's not that case, he seems to be a committed n honest cricketer, he was partly screwed because Dhoni hated phaaast bowlers, a bowler like him needs support, also he did bowl well last year in domestics n one spell when someone hits out is not uncommon, he will be back n make it count , since Dhoni is no more kaptaaan.

Expected improvement is just not there.  he should be setting the domestic cricket on fire but that is not the case. Also, selectors are now looking at other options for A teams.  He has not been picked in any of them. while he should have been instead of Kulkarni, Unadkat..

what pace do you think he is

He was quicker than both Unadkat and Sanandia. Unadkat bowls up to 135 Sanandia 130. As I have seen both previously under speed guns. So, he should be quicker than 135, might also be hitting 140.

Every young pacer from India wants to bowl fast these days .... bowl with effort ..... want to hit the deck hard

There are so many sharp bowlers around at every level

That is the biggest plus for me.

Now, I want to see 2 under 26 average fast bowlers and 1 express bowler 150 k+, bowling for India in test matches for a long time.

Check career FC stats of both .... averages -  Siraj  22 vs  Rajpoot 28 .... SR  Siraj  46  vs Rajpoot  56

Plus Siraj is quicker too

Siraj only played one season. Rajpoot too had similar record but below average last season ruined his average and SR a bit. He has already played 4-5 seasons now.

If Siraj performs badly this season, then interest in Siraj  will get reduced too.

The issue being discussed was why Siraj gets mention before Rajpoot as of today

Plus, quicker bowlers tend to attract more attention too

Aaron, being the captain himself, bowls just 6 overs in an entire completed match.

Yes, it was turning track, but Sandeep Warrier picked up 3 wickets .... reverse swing is possible on such tracks too

Has he lost motivation  ?

Warrier is a very good bowler. No idea why he has slipped out of radar. Not picked in any A teams. He is better than Thampi for days games. He bowls those test areas consistently.

My point was Rajpoot is far more experienced and has seen ups and down and more matured having played multiple seasons, so, he should be given higher preference, not just someone who has played one season. Yes, Siraj is good prospect but other prospects should be given equal chances too.

That's ok.

@ sarchasm and I were discussing the  ' reasons for fan-interest '  aspect too.
