He has certainly transformed his batting in last 2 seasons. He is scoring at an SR of 93 today. ye hopefully he keeps on performing but still whatever the pitch is like the pace at which he is batting is remarkable Link to comment

Pankaj, Aniket, Tanveer, and Khaleel is making his debut who is another great prospect. Nathu is not yet fit. Problem of plenty for them once he is fit. Don't see Nagarkoti making ranji debut this season. Link to comment

But doesn't look like it. I don't think Assam team has that many decent bats to justify not selecting this kid. He was one of the highest scorers in the u19 test series in England. And Dravid rates the kid, so that has to have some weight as well. I know Shubman Gill got the headlines and the 'A' team selection, but it would be nice to see a top class batsman making it to the Indian team from the NorthEast. Link to comment

Hell Raiser
Good to know that khejroliya is playing test matches. He seems to bowl at a brisk pace as it was also mentioned in news that he was generating some good pace and was hitting the deck hard today. Here' what Indian express reported about his bowling today. "Another impressive performance came from left-arm pacer Khejroliya (1/46 in 18 overs), who produced decent pace with a 70 plus over old SG Test ball. It was sheer pace that sent Assam skipper Gokul Sharma’s (51 off 172 balls) stumps cartwheeling. Kulwant was hitting the deck hard and getting deliveries to rear up awkwardly where some of the others couldn't get it above knee roll at times."
