If he were a new player, we would have said ,  " Wow ! There is this middle-order left-handed batsman, Jadeja ..... has scored 150 not out today off only 223 balls ..... has 3 triple centuries in FC ..... someone to keep an eye on as a test batsman.  Can he be our Lara given his hunger for big 100s ?  "   :phehe:

Seems to be guy to watch out for in Punjab team. Scored 202 in last match and now 89 when none of other players could bat much.

Lalit Yadav's opening partner rajneesh gurubani also looked good.

He bowled really well . Was a but wayward against yuvraj when he came in . Was getting movement both ways and hitting the deck hard occasionally

Mohali is a very slow and low pitch. Today I saw an over or two from Sran and he barely got any bounce. Ball barely carrying to keep per.

Yes .....And Lalit Yadav was getting good bounce there

Lalit bends his back a lot and has a reasonably high arm action. May get more bounce than many others.

India need number 3 in test cricket now besides Pujara I think Vihari is perfect for future investment, If S.Iyer suppose to be in Indian team than Vihari to very talented

I noticed Atit Sheth once again among runs lower down

at Rajkot Snell patel hammered 94, Saurashrra experiment patel at 6 from opener slot and he come out good, his best was 87 previously he put on 199 with ravindra Jadeja

Nate bhai wapas.

ishan Sharma today bowls great spell given 12 runs in 66 balls with 3 wickets

The best player for No. 3 wud be Rahane, i still think he ll do much better then pujara at that slot in overseas for sure .

100 in season opener for Samarth , hope he can score a few more big ones and come into reckoning for backup openers slot . We need a quality opener for the test team in long run , especially for overseas tours .

Samarth scored in SA .... so, I would be open to choosing him even as a reserve middle-order batter in overseas tests.

Who is this guy and how quick  ?

We keep watching out for upcoming guys, but BCCI is so retarded in selections, so no point, since they keep selecting TTFs

Yarra Prithviraj does look pacy in this highlights package

All 3 wickets with bouncers or rising short balls on a brownish pitch

Express Bhai pace ki baat mat karo, with bhi TV pe, jokes apart, he has a slingy action n is a bit awkward to face, pace m not sure , L Yadav seem fast medium , Yarra might be quicker then Unadkunt

I think in general guys from that area, are stronger, n can bowl fast, Bihar, Jharkhand, U.P.

Not just because I am a bihari, but I have met people who have sworn there were 150+ bowlers in Bihar in the past. 2 bowlers, I personally know and they used to be popular in 90's for being express fast.

The thing is, that area of Bihar and Jharkhand is so underutilized, and biharis in general are very hard working. If the cricket management picks a few real talents from these areas and gives them support, I do believe a lot can happen

my stance is same here. how could they say they were 150 bowlers without speed guns. People spread a lot of such stuff like Abid Nabi bowling 147 kph when he played was not crossing 130.

Can't watch videos coz I am in the office. But just look at this article about the bowler @rkt.india was talking about. This is what bowling stars can do to you.

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/news/Javelin-to-hurling-red-cherry-Story-of-Chota-Babloo-Lalit-Yadav/articleshow/55419526.cms

This lad is just following Umesh Yadav and wants to bowl as fast as him! Well, we seem to be developing a good pace culture and we already seem to have a handful of future players who could really be genuine express bowlers.
