goose
How often are these updated? What's the longest time any batsman has spent at no.1 in tests? What's the longest time any batsman has spent at no.1 in odis? What's the longest time any batsman has spent at no.1 in tests and odis at the same time? Link to comment
Tibarn
Good to see Shami into the top 20. Gabriel is at his career best right now. He's the leader of the Windies attack now I guess. SA has 4 bowlers in the top 20, the true bowling powerhouse. Link to comment

Year end top ranked players ODIS= Greg and Lara held it for 5 years in a row. Jones, vivan ,Bevan and ABD 4 each. Amlaa 3 years and Only Indian in that list is DHONI ( 2 years in a row ) Tests = So many names but Don brad held it for 9 years. No Indian in that list who held 2 years in a row Both = Greg chap ( 3 years in a row) followed by ABD 2 years in a row Edited September 2, 2017 by Rasgulla Link to comment
goose
Year end - doesn't mean they were no.1 throughout that period which is what i was asking for. Link to comment

Pretty much does if they have 2 in a row 3 in a row they are pretty much holding it for that amount of time Link to comment

If other teams are playing more matches than the player's team but chances of slipping down for that is very less Link to comment

For it's batsmen it's Gary Sobers. He was ranked 1 from 23 Dec 1959 to 8 March 1965. Link to comment
