sandeep
Bhuvi and Bumrah are the best pacer combo at the death, to play for India in quiet some time. Keep on keeping on, Bhuvi!. Haters gonna hate. Texan, Rasgulla and beetle 3 Link to comment
ThePhenomenal1
Looked at his stats and compared with Bumrah i thought Kumar had underachieved. But has a great arsenal in his bowling now and will pick up wickets. Very handy bowler that we must treat right and manage properly. sandeep 1 Link to comment
express bowling
We have got Bhuvi 2.0 in 2017 ( starting from 2nd half of 2016 ) .... with a much wider range of skills for ODIs and T20s. We are seeing more and better quality yorkers, bouncers, knuckle balls etc. He is hitting the deck harder on occasions. That is the part I like about his bowling nowadays. Pollack
Damn this Srilanka series! Dhoni fans rejoicing. Dhoni is back. Lmao. Bhuvi fans : How dare you say Bhuvi still needs to be monitored for performance. Series Mission accomplished. Indian team is very good. Everything is good now that we have defeated mighty Srilankans.Every player is excellent. This same team lost to Pakistan in most humiliating manner. This team also lost to Srilanka. But those are just flukes. Laaloo and Hell Raiser 2 Link to comment

Openers scored 203(207) in a high-scoring game that we ended up being 25 runs short. Entire top-order keeled over like an impotent 80-year old in the CT final. But who cares? Let's blame old grey-beard. For everything. All of it. So many "fans" are tired of his Suppandi face. Kuch nayaa lao. Link to comment
Texan
Bhuvi and Bumrah are really top quality end over bowlers. Still would like to see Bhuvi utilize more swing and seam early in the innings. His end over bowling along with Bumrah has been a revelation. beetle, sandeep and SK_IH 3 Link to comment

That was bound to happen in the first 3 years of his career ..... as he was a limited bowler who depended primarily on swinging the ball conventionally. His skill-set was limited. From mid-2016, he has been bowling quicker, hitting the deck hard on occasions, has a better yorker, bouncer, knuckle ball , has seamed the ball better on flatter tracks etc. Is a much better death-bowler. Has produced much better results. It is important that he keeps on bowling with this effort and not go back to his earlier style of floaty bowling. Trichromatic
2nd 5-fer by an Indian pacer this year, that's great considering our pacers pick 5-fer once in 2-3 years. Link to comment
express bowling
One thing that Bhuvi needs to improve upon in ODIs is ..... bowling a higher % of good-length, off-stump deliveries at full pace, in his first spell and maybe his second spell too. Attacking lines and lengths are necessary to pick more wickets up-front. Link to comment

Had 0 wickets in this series before this game Didn't he get seriously injured 3 years back? When you use statistics to make your point, context matters. Bhuvi's value to the team in his reliability as a economical bowler. Sure, he needs to work on picking up more wickets, but those who understand fast bowling, can clearly see the non-trivial improvements he's made as a bowler in the last 2 years or so. You can choose to slice and dice his stats selectively, or you can evaluate him objectively on his strengths and weaknesses as a bowler as of today. Not claiming he's awesome, but citing old stats to claim he shouldn't be in the team is flawed and disingenuous. Link to comment
