express bowling
Team on expected lines. The basic team is very good. But why Umesh for ODIs ? And why is a back-up keeper not being groomed ? What if Dhoni is injured for a match or a series ? Mosher and OpeningBatsman 2 Link to comment

OpeningBatsman
Good team except for Umesh in odis. Rahane couldn't be dropped, after the WI series, whether we like it or not. express bowling 1 Link to comment
Hell Raiser
Yadav should have been given more rest before ranji trophy and I feel he should be considered for test matches only. Same for Shami because of fitness concerns . With so much cricket going on we should try and create a pool of bowlers for different formats so that we can manage their workload. Pant would have been ideal. 10 minutes ago, Ankit_sharma03 said: shardul shud have been persisted with Got the feeling that Shardul has disappointed our team management ..... because we played only 2 pacers in the T20. Mosher
Shardul being dropped after only a few games is unfair. He should have got more opportunities. Umesh should have been rested. Shami too should be rested after the 3rd ODI. Hopefully Shardul will be back for the remaining 2 ODI's. Pant should have been in the team. express bowling and Samcric 1 1 Link to comment

I think the team t20 selection was right, u play ur best bowler and bhuvi, bumrah, chahal, kuldeep are our best t20 bowler so there was no space About team mngmt faith in shardul, i dnt think there is an issue he came in as replacement only. Now if they want their main bowler back the replacement will have to go back . Shardul shud be added to Duleep trophy squad OpeningBatsman 1 Link to comment
