The Man has received a lot of appreciation from Muslims especially Pakistanis for not saying that he isn't a Muslim and that he doesn't believe in Sharia.

The Sikhs should rather create more awareness about being a separate religion than sympathizing with Sharia Lovers.

Should have simply said that we are sikhs and we don't believe in the backward and disgusting sharia law

He was very smart not to say that (remember he is a politician). This lady was more knowledgeable than you guys are giving her credit for and she knew very well he was a Sikh. She was trying to raise some issues about his policies and he refused answering them when she tried calling him. This guy is a known Khalistan sympathizer.

See her side of the story here:

Nah...this guy is Canadian citizen...Khalistan will NEVER form.....period.

So what have the Governments in India done since 1984 to bring to justice all the thugs & hooligans who killed, raped & plundered Sikh women and burnt Sikh Men & toddlers alive....what's so great about India's so called Democracy and which political party has done anything in bringing to justice all the criminals who are walking free to this day.

After 9/11...A white guy shot & killed a Sikh in the US presuming him to be a Muslim....the Cops booked him for Murder. Now you see the difference between Shyt Democracy in India and in developed countries?

Of course Khalistan will never form.

And putting aside the value judgement, Jagmeet Singh is still banned from coming to India. GOI doesn't restrict many people from travelling to the country, some exceptions being terrorists (and their sympathizers). This guy is "free" to shout Raj karega khalsa and demand a separate homeland in US, Canada or England... considering majority of khalistan dreamers reside in those places anyways.

Khalistan which because popular among sikhs in kaneda because they sheltered sikh terrorists  who ran away from law. After 1984 riots, a lot of sikhs who were affected/impacted found to be sympathised by khalistani terrorists in kaneda and it has a vast political support. Jagmeet is one of them and he sides with muslims as well, wants to connect niqab ban to Islamophobia by law.

Screw Khalistan...why are you dodging the question of Mass Govt sponsored Genocide against Sikhs in India. It's mostly people like you that are living in that shythole...It will remain shythole forever.

You wanna a debate why a land (of 1.3 billion people) that got pillaged for centuries is a craphole 70 years after independence?

Clearly I touched a raw nerve.

btw Jagmeet had already visited India a few times before. He advocated that that the 1984 'riots' in which sikhs were killed was actually a 'genocide' that was state sponsored.  After these statements, India revoked his visa.

Sources say what triggered alarm bells in the Indian Home Ministry were statements Mr. Singh made at various public gatherings last year on the issue of the killing of Sikhs in New Delhi and elsewhere after the assassination of former prime minister Indira Gandhi on Oct. 31, 1984, by her own bodyguards.

In the riots that ensued, reports say, more than 3,000 people were killed.

The 34-year-old Mr. Singh, a litigation lawyer who was born and educated in Canada, has said that "the word 'riot' is a misnomer for what happened in November, 1984. I have been propagating the issue that these were not riots between the two [Hindu and Sikh] communities. Instead it was a state-sponsored massacre."

He has also reportedly used the word "genocide" to refer to the killings of Sikhs.

you're mixing up two things.  the 1984 'riots or better yet the state sponsored genocide/massacre' was backed up by the government. i think even in india everyone knows that it was state sponsored at some level with the cops just looking and letting the goons run wild.  Rajiv gandhi even went on record saying that " "When a giant tree falls, the earth below shakes. "

Its ironic in a way

Congress sponsored the anti sikh riots and yet is also ruling punjab. One would have expected them to fade away. Yet at a time when they are diminishing all over India they are strong in Punjab.

Amrinder who quit Cong when it came to operation Bluestar and the riots is now governed by Rajiv's widow Sonia.
