Ther was a ban in the first place ? WTF?

And at a guess , Tunisian men never had such restriction.

Pretty much any Muslim majority country would have that "ban" even if not officially..it's a given. Of course double standards would make it not apply to the men.

Tunisia also banned the hideous looking burqa, a country which has its priorities spot on...rare for an Islamic country be on the right path. Respect to her rulers and people. While Tunisia will reap the benefits of these measures in the long run, sad to see hitherto progressive Muslim majority states like Indonesia, Turkey and Malaysia become increasingly shariah compliant.

not  to forget Indonesia,  where  people went on streets because the christian  mayor of Djakarta allegedly insulted  Islam.

so Islam is not in India ?

If your sister is marrying a non-Muslim (and so, will have non-Muslims children most likely), what will you do , options :

- Behappy for her irrespective of grooms religion.

- put pressure on her, try to brainwash her

- your family boycotts her

- kill her

Such hypothetical scenarios may be common in countries with muslim non muslim mix, but such a thing could not happen where I am from.

Got to say for all its issues Iraq economically is emerging well. ISIS being defeated and slowly but surely it is emerging. I did not expect this.

In contrast you worry about the north of africa. Egypt algeria Tunisia Morroco Libya. Can be the new frontier for chaos
