Not that great a loss for SA. Guy averages less than Yuvraj in test cricket, not going to win  u matches with the ball either. Overrated test player.

He knows his potential so he announces retirement in First class cricket besides test  but desires to play for Southafrica in ODI good for them who can save 25 runs as Fielder plus near 5000 International runs he is handy spinner too with 122 wickets

Not really. Bavuma is not exactly performing well. Only 1 hundred after 24 Tests and average barely above 30. He gets many middling scores of 30s or 40s, which is just not good enough for Test cricket. He is also there due to the reservations.
