surajmal
Check twitter. I guess liberandus are preparing to occupy digital space in runup to 2019. Home team is seriously lacking. Other than Swarajya and opindia, rest is just aam aadmi shouting on twitter. We need more swarajya clones.

surajmal
Moot point. Digital is almost already the opinion maker in India and it is a fraction of what it is expected to be with exponential growth expected over the next decade. Liberandus can't be allowed to infect blue sky territory.

Muloghonto
Chaddis worrying like all religious conservative people that the truth about their fictional stories written by men with less than grade7 education, will get exposed to the new generation withou dedicated chaddi-channels. So much common between bible-tards and chaddis, its not even funny.
Tibarn
@G_B_ @surajmal Apparently the buyer is some Ajai Singh who also bought SpiceJet a few years ago. randomGuy and G_B_
surajmal
Frankly, tv is dead. Hoping, if the new owner is a sanghi, they would reorient NDTV towards digital. Arnab has already indicated that his grand plan is entirely digital focussed. Now we need few more magazines. Looking at the trustee list of Vivekananda foundation and India foundation, we have enough builders. Social media is a sanghi domain. If Swarajya like magazines that produce quality material spring up, there is no way liberandus will get even a sniff other than through shady money (as in the case of wire and print)

LOL. Swarajya is the same magazine that tries to peddle the BS of 'astrology/astronomy reference in mahabharata/ramayana' nonsense.

Or maybe...just maybe not publish articles from economists dabbling in history or civil servants dabbling in ancient texts written by dimwits. Such stuff is not quality, is tabloid journalism and propaganda. And that is why you are worried.

Gollum
We need a proper left wing media channel like NDTV to keep the govt accountable. By no means am I a leftist but we need someone to ask the tough questions of the government. Republic, Times Now, India Today, NewsX have become unbearably biased in favor of BJP and RSS. Even among Hindi channels apart from NDTV India only ABP group was somewhat holding the govt accountable. If all channels become BJP mouthpieces who will expose their scams and shortcomings? Vyapam death toll has already hit a century, yet it has been blacked out by media. Fuel price hike, demonetization failure, inept foreign policy, GSPC mega scam, Ambani-Adani jugalbandi etc should be the talking points...yet you see the media these days who never ask the tough questions and wonder whether this is India or DPRK. Yet Sanyal is still an unqualified hack getting published only on propaganda magazines like Swarajya...because editors there are too stupid to see his errors. Is easy to expose 'Indian Fox news' aka Swarajya. Only reason you think Sanyal is more Bong than me, is because he is willing to accept your favorite fantasy fairytales written by jaahils. I don't think there needs to be any "Right" or "Left" Wing media outlets. All these star journalists across the globe who want to become the news themselves and who want to interpret the news for people is getting on my last nerve. The ideal media should just report what happened and let the viewer interpret what happened for themselves. In my opinion, the sooner media houses lose power the better. If you ever visit the US, you would see how much citizen journalism occurs now. Normal people report from ground zero itself, without spin and buzzwords that TRP hungry media use to sensationalize things. The sooner India gets 100% internet and smart phone penetration, the better. rkt.india, Book_Worm, chewy and 1 other 1
