Ben Stokes and Alex Hales will not be available for tomorrow’s One-Day International match against West Indies at The Oval.

Stokes was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning, 25 September, following an incident in Bristol.

He was held overnight and released under investigation – without charge – late on Monday and will not join the team in London.

Hales, who was with Stokes on Sunday night, did not train this morning and has returned voluntarily to Bristol today to help Police with their enquiries.

English cricket web sites says Hales also beat 26 year old men MIDDLE OF HIS BALL OR LEG with his stelleto shoes.

hales was not arrested on the spot but ECB suspend Hales for tomorrow's game

They haven't been suspended..just that they cannot make it to the game as they had to stay back in Bristol for all the legal works.

WTF? :hysterical:  Hales's stilettos or the beaten up guy's?

Haven't seen that bit anywhere mind but hope it's true just for the lol value since Hales isn't going to the Ashes anyway.

Did ECB announce English team? At 7.30 USA time zone, oval game starts today, Morgan told yesterday we will missing Hales as well but Roy will open innings.

What new  development says in England,'' both Stokes and Hales hides something but Hales was held for question.''

Saw the video. While i dont blame Stokes for starting it, because it is very clear in the video that them thugs were assaulting English players, But he should have stopped and once he and other lads fell on ground.

He would have come out as genuine team mate who stands for his team mate.

But since he continued chasing and throwing punches, He seems a very dangerous person to be around.
