Even our captain has tattoos, so he should be dropped as well by these moronic selectors logic. This is fast becoming a team of oldies and best friends. Link to comment

chewy
ao fustrating to see Rahane squeeze into the squad on the basis of his 80 ball 50s this is going to cost India another ICC tournament rahulrulezz and SK_IH 2 Link to comment

He's meant to be a buffer for Dhoni keeping out the likes of Pant just the way Rahane keeps out Rahul for Rohit and Dhawan. Link to comment

Our current 4 to 6 positions do not have a single 6 hitter based on current-day ability ..... while we see other teams packing their sides with explosive batters ..... and this is resulting in Hardik being promoted to 4 .... resulting in 6 and 7 being consolidators. This is a shocker, shami and umesh dropped??? wth is wrong with these moron selectors?? I can understand rahuls omission might well be injury and inconsistency issues... . and Dinesh karthic?? God save us, he is selected only for dhoni to look good can't find any other reason but dropping a quality pacers like shami is pathetic, This is some 90s esque "sifarishi" selections. Such a shame, we complain about not having enough top class bowlers and then drop someone who has 90+ wickets in about 50 matches, after giving him just one ODI Mosher, express bowling and speedheat 1 2 Link to comment

GolGappe
Simply don't have the vision to try fringe younger players in an inconsequential bi-lateral series against a pretty average team at home. These are ideal conditions for trying out new players. express bowling, Mosher and WeStMiDz 1 2 Link to comment
wanted_desi
KL Rahul is the only one after Kohli who can play all three formats. Kaptaan Kohli doesn't want anyone like that around. Kings are always insecure. Link to comment
cowboysfan
I think Karthiks selection is regressive,we should have selected some new guys but other than that this is ok.Rahul is an opener and should open in LOI cricket. As long as Dhawan is in form there is no place for Rahul in this team.I would not pick Shami again for LOI cricket, infact he should play Ranjis sparingly and just keep himself healthy.
