I hve seen kohli when he was vice captain going to captains with ideas

I hve seen ashwin, rahane do that

Dhoni did that in his time as keeper to help captain

Our vice-captain is rohit i hve hardly seen him do that, does he even care or does he even knw he is the vice captain

If Kohli is running off to Dhoni every time for advice and other times if dhoni is butting in, then what do you want sharma to do? Play as the yes man?

Can we please take the kid gloves off of Kohli and let him captain on his own? For one game? By doing what we are currently doing, we are/he is hindering his growth as a captain. Who cares if he captains on his own and we lose a few bilaterals? If in the process, he can gain experience, then all the better. And it's not like Dhoni is offering some input which any tom dick and harry couldnt figure out anyways.

Kohli is 28 not a kid. He can tell dhoni if he doesn't like his interference and strategies. It is he the captain who has the final say. If he doesn't know that he shouldn't be a captain.

Kohli has every right to go whom he feels like

Dhoni has every right to give him ideas specially being a former captain n senior player

Both people doing their job their way , how does that make rohit not do his job

When dhoni was captain i have sachin, zaheer walking up for advice and dhoni themselves going to them yet it never stopped gambhir or sehwag and kohli later on

Stop coming up with these bullshit excuses .

Rahane is vice captain in test and yet ull see ashwin going to kohli so many times

he is not a kid , but he is not a natural captain either .. he needs some grooming unlike other captain materials

Dhonis captaincy/field placement skills are a bit overrated. What he is really good at is handling/ advising the spinners. And the tangible results mostly visible only on turning tracks. He has his Gkismat moments like Misbah going for  paddle sweep when he could  have hit Joginder anywhere, England getting out in CT final, Bangla doing Harakiri against Pandya etc...

His captaincy of fast bowlers/ rotation of spells is a joke. Kohli is miles ahead in handling fastmen.
