Yet the Indian team keeps playing BK and not Shami. The excuse of saving him for tests or resting him doesnt pass as he is playing Ranjis. Ravi Shastri is known for his favouratism and so is MSD. Kohli us known to throw the toys out of pram if it doesnt go his way.What he did to Kumble is a case in point.Ganguly is a staunch critic of Shastri and his relation with Dhoni isnt very cordial. Are they hell bent on destroying Shami's career because he comes from Bengal and none of the axis of evil players enjoy good relations with Dada? Laaloo 1 Link to comment

Kohli was expected and hyped to be India's first fast bowling captain and here under his captaincy all we have seen is our best ODI pacer warming bench for Ashwin and Jaddu while they were getting smashed right and left. philcric Posted October 30, 2017 Share Posted October 30, 2017 No issues with Bhuvi and Bumrah being the top picks in the ODI team. But Shami definitely is one of the 3 best ODI pacers in India. Unless he has injury concerns or strategically saved for overseas tests, him not being in the ODI squad or not playing a fair number of games does raise eyebrows. Khota 1 Link to comment

Khota Posted November 1, 2017 Share Posted November 1, 2017 It is a shame. If he is injured tell us truthfully, not by team manager but by team doctor. Not giving him games without any explanation is not fair. Rotating these five bowlers is so important. India is fortunate that they have Shami, Bhuvi, Umesh and Bhumrah at the same time.
