King Tendulkar
Some may scream that madness . well average number of deliveries that go past the bat in t20 game is ...8 to 10 balls . That’s all ! Bailey kept in t20 for Aussie v paks . 5 balls went past bat in that match to him !!! Only one in first 15 overs . Easy ! food for thought Edited November 19, 2017 by King Tendulkar Rasgulla and sergio04 1 1 Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
No No No A part time keeper in any international game isnt worth taking a risk unless teams have dearth of it. Drop warner, Abdv, pollard, russell or any t20 player even if 3 overs are left ....good luck to you One crucial stumping one crucial drop under pressure thats all it takes to be a winner or on loossing side Link to comment

Easy ! food for thought Depends from team to team, and bowling combinations. If a team is playing a lot of spinners, then I won't play part time keeper as spinners are hard to keep which even regular keepers struggle. If team has all pace attack with just a spinner like say Mitchell Santner, then I would go on and take my chance to have a part time keeper. If you are referring to Indian keepers playing instead of Dhoni in t20s, then I would say yes, I would play Pant, or Kishan or Rahul as keeper, but remind you they are more than just part-time keepers as they all can keep. Rahul is borderline part time now but he is still decent keeper. sandeep and Vk1 2 Link to comment

King Tendulkar
My point is not to bring in a complete non keeper like Rohit Sharma but a ok part time keepe who will strengthen batting like sampson or kl Raul as often in t20 they take only 8 balls in whole innings ok t20 in India with wrist spinners maybe no . But flat non turning tracks in oz and sa, why not ? sandeep 1 Link to comment

Khota
India has enough depth. There are 4 wkt kpr batsman who are better than dhoni. No problem. Link to comment

Nahin year, dhoni's got a really high average past 2 years, nearly higher than his top score...how can we drop? He's clearly in phenomenal touch Link to comment

AUS is good for us in General when it gets to T20Is. I am afraid of WI hacks though. No one can compete with those WI hacks on pattas in small grounds like wankade and chinnaswamy. Even Edges fly to sixes.... Since grounds are bigger in Aus I fancy our chances. Long way to go anyway.. 3 years early. Link to comment
Rasgulla
So from now on year before WC ll be left free so people can get excited for real WC and then we have so called Test and ODI championship. Link to comment

Its like saying we beat Australia in 2003 in Adelaide so will always beat Australia in Adelaide. Twenty20 could be one of the the easiest and toughest format at the same time. Few overs change the game. We have seen a lot of times now. No one is favorite unless you are West Indies. Link to comment
Khota
The only reason WI does so well is that they are the most athletic. Need to change the mindset and compete with them. Link to comment
speedheat
I completely disagree with op, you need a specialist WK in t20s too considering the amount of hacks ,t20 produces more outside/inside edges then any other format sometimes edgs fly over, an athletic keeper will only help, keeping against spinners is important too a crucial miss-mstumping or a drop catch can change the match. He may not keep all the time for his team but cannot call him partimer. likes Kedar Jadhav, Ryudu, Rahul are/were parttime keepers. Edited November 20, 2017 by rkt.india Link to comment
