Not a single day with 90 overs play - SHAME!!

Its a shame really. Agreed 1st two days were washed out with rain, but there was enough sunlight for final 3 days to have 90 overs game. But still no effort made to start the match early or play under lights to cover full days play, let alone covering up for the lost overs. Eden Garden authorities/BCCI robbed India of a test win.

Eden Gardens has become an effing disgrace the last 2-3 years. They couldn't get the outfield ready for the 3rd T20 against SA in spite of no rain the whole day, that bizarre time waste before the Indo-Pak WT20 game and this, pretty sure I am forgetting a couple of more absurd happenings there.... Dada has been such a huge letdown, CAB needs to get its **** together and fast. They can easily start the matches at 8:30 in east India in winter because of early sunset but guess their heads are too thick to grasp basic common sense.

sun starts to go by down by 4 in east during winters and you cant play under lights with red ball.  This is the reason day night tests are played with pink ball.

Subah nehi khelega due to fog...shaam ko 4 baje ghar jaani hai, why play cricket in winter at all then? Make cricket a summer sport then like here in UK. Keep winter for overseas tours.

It does not happen in all venues.  This was the wrong time to have a test in Kolkata. Summers in India are not good for test cricket in 40 degrees heat. October and Feb-March are best time for test in Eden. Nagpur will be fine weather wise.
