Why do Asian sides have such poor records vs Pakistan ?

Having followed cricket for a while it surprises me why Asian teams have failed to match up to Pakistan over the years .

Arguably a lot of these sides have healthier domestic structures so why have they failed to produce similar talent ??

Is it because of the bowling lineups where a huge country like India has not produced a sub 25 averaging world class bowler .

Pakistan for example have won a smiliar number of tests from a hundred less games than India.

Interestingly the tiny island of Srilanka and India have  simar records but well behind Pakistan while Bangladesh have been just poor so far.

Why has Pakistan been such a dominant force in Asian cricket ??

Discuss.

They were dominant when Shakoor Rana and co used to umpire. In last 10-12 years when umpiring standards have improved and technology increased and more scrutiny being done by media and all, even likes of Lanka have beaten them now.

That is an inteteresting perspective . Yes home umpires were notoriously biased .

One of the reasons the victories in India are cherished so much .

Hopefully in this day and age of professionalism we will see India and Pakistan produce some good umpires.

Pakistan were, historically, a strong team until the mid 90's in tests. That is a good 4 decades since they started playing. If you look at the last two decades, India have comfortably been a better test nation. India have been a better ODI side than Pakistan though. 2 world cups and a comparable W/L ratio against top sides.

India trail pakistan something like 80 -55

Pakistan beat India in India in the last bilateral odi series .

Pakistan beat India by 180 runs in the last game the two teams played .

Pakistan has won a bilateral odi series in and against every single test playing nation.

Pakistan has dominated the Asian cricket scene .

Which millenium are we talking about?  In the current one, in this universe, not some alternative jihadi one, the numbers speak for themselves.
