DRS on fall of 10th wicket !

Why don't batting teams take DRS on the fall of 10th wicket by default, irrespective of how obvious the dismissal is (even if clean bowled). There's a chance the bowler may have overstepped, the umpires these days don't pay total attention on the bowler's front foot esp. in tests, they mostly focus on what's happening at the batsman's end.

Today, Lyon was dismissed by the part-timer Joe Root, with Smith batting beautifully on 141. 

 

Should have asked for a review.

 

Haven't looked at stats, but I'm sure there's at least 1 no ball bowled every 100 overs in test cricket. However unlikely it may seem, it's still freely available to the batting team, and they should take it. You never know, you may just get lucky.

Usually bowlers who are batting do not have presence of mind to take action right away. But its a good suggestion and they should make use of it if they have a review left.
