You should start the thread after Southafrica series.WI and Srilanka are weakest bowling force in world of cricket, regard less where the test matches stage not to tell anyone : but Virat hit 6 International century vs SL in 2017 how did Pakistan do vs Sri Lanka at home this year in tests? Jimmy Cliff
Smith's failure ensures that he won't surpass Bradman's peak rating after this Test. Good chance that Kohli will end up with a 900+ rating after his double hundred in the 1st innings. Link to comment
mishra
After what I saw today, I hope that was just a occasional mental choke in Smithy. But you could easily see, there is a massive weakness if you ball him like the way Anderson and Woakes did. Pitch it on leg and middle and then let it swing away from him. HE was playing on backfoot instead of going on front foot. Link to comment
ravishingravi
I think we should not even mentioning any batsman in same breadth as Smith for test cricket. Undoubtedly the very best. GoldenSun, Nonbeliever, Rasgulla and 1 other 1 2 1 Link to comment
Rasgulla
Smith is miles ahead.. No comparision in this format.. Link to comment
nevada
Smith makes runs with boring regularity after fall of early wickets. No other batsman even comes close to that kind of consistency. Link to comment

Scored 3 100s earlier this year when entire Indian team combined could muster only 2, funny part is Kohli went MIA there when the team needed him most. And there were several slightly lower level bowlers too.Today's bowlers pales in comparison to them What were the averages of batsmen at that time. If there were lesser 50+ batsmen then we can say they bowled to poorer batsmen. Link to comment

Gollum
There is only one player I know amongst the younger lot who can match Smith now that it is confirmed VK, Root, KW are a few leagues below him. It is our very own KL Rahul......kid's a genius who showed his class against Australia this year. But Kohli being the jealous, unscrupulous, treacherous, insecure brat that he is.....is trying his level best to end Rahul's career lest there emerge a bigger Indian star than him. Rahul is a genius who is being unfairly treated by some vested interests and that is the only reason there will be no competitor to Smith in the next 10 years, allow Rahul to bloom and we will get Sachin 2.0 in our midst, that is how good he is. Steyn in his peak year saw Rahul in the nets and boldly predicted that the teenager would score 10000+ runs and become a great.......... F U Kohli, F U Shastribot.
