By recently if we mean SL series, then Kohli should have been dropped after that Australia series.

And play who instead of Kohli, dont be foolish you cannot drop a captain especially when he was the leading run getter in the previous series. As shown by your stats, Dhawan has been the most successful one in recent times. If KL Rahul would have made 100 in either of previou 2 tests he would have been playing today. He has nothing but himself to blame for not converting those 50s into 100s

How is he least successful recently?

ofcourse they wouldnt think about dropping Rahane who is in terrible form because he is from aamchi Mumbai, this whole thing reeks of  anti south indian hate from Shastri.

Common this is streching far.....

Rahane is a gem of a batsman who is very crucial in the upcoming overseas leg. There is no question of him being dropped when he is also our vice-captain. Blaming mumbai lobby etc. is simply incorrect.

Dhawan has scored 2 hundreds and 1 fifty in his 4 tests, Rahul has scored 4 fifties in last 5 matches and Vijay just scored a century last match. As I said if he had converted those 50s into 100s he would have been playing today. There is no rocket science here

how people forget Rahuls runs against Australia,we would have lost that series without him .these cheap runs from dhawan against pathetic teams like SL dont count  for much.
