I always felt most of these so called  “loyal to the family” veterans who advise Pappu are modern versions of Shakuni mama.

I mean cmon most of these guys are actually very well educated and have the political experience to boot it is almost become  obvious that they might be sabotaging Pappu.

Rahul Gandhi going to temples all of a sudden seems so fake that anyone can see through it...atleast if he stuck to his personality people would accept him for who he is but looks like a bigger joker doing this shiv Puja stuff.

One of the Congress PR guys the other day said the reason Rahul opposes Ram Mandir but is going to Shiv temples because he is not a Vaishnavite but a Shivaite...I mean can you really make this **** up :cantstop:

Add Kapil Sibbal too.

He was born in Pakistan and speaks chaste urdu. Aiyar ke naam pe dhabba hain woh.

I don’t think these mani shankar, subramaniam Swamy etc.. can speak Tamil at all.I believe their dads where diplomats etc posted in North so they pretty much grew up there..I don’t speak Tamil but I understand it a little and I stumbled upon this Subramaniam Swamy  Tamil interview and in the comments section,he was brutally getting criticized by the @velu s And @BeautifulGame s of the world for sucking at it.

Are you comparing north Indians to Pakistanis ?

No, absolutely not. I meant his style of speaking and all that. I shouldn't have used North Indian, should have been Urdu speaking North Indian like Lucknow walleh log. I don't think he understands a word of Tamil.

In my opinion, Mani did a supreme sacrifice, only expected from a career boot licker of the family. Gandhi’s very well know that they are going to lose Gujarat. By making Mani the fall guy, a “hard working, temple going” RaGa will skirt the blame, atleast for next elections.

Velu, in Tamil too “Neech” has the same meaning as Hindi... isn’t it?

there are many root words which is common between hindi/sanskrit and tamil/south languages..

neecham - debilitated or damaged or lower

uchcham - exalted or higher

i am sure iyer meant modi as someone with lower moral than lower caste :phehe:

May be you are not following Aiyar's history.. He is filled with hate against Modi. Check his artciles on NDTV.COM .. its almost always against Modi. I believe he meant what he said.. it just that he got caught with double meaning of 'neech'.. he meant 'low life'.. and BJP interpreted intentionally with 'lower class life'... .there is a difference..

Both parties have said worst than this..

'Neech' is 'Keel' in tamil. it would have been a disaster if he used this root term in tamil as a derog he might have got lynched.  'keelthara patta' is a socialist marker term, not a derog. If used as derog the whole Dravidian community would have been against him. He could have got away with 'ezivana' that means low in morals.. Iyer just did not know hindi enough or as well as he thought he knew.
