Proves that Hindutva extremism is real and should not be treated with kid gloves. Appalling incident, more or less a complete media blackout. Just hope politicians don't interfere and allow this evil scumbag to escape, maximum punishment needed to restore law and order in our society. And someone has to tone down these radical Hindutva extremists, threats should not be ignored (like in case of Padmavati saga) and these loonies should not be given any space to incite violence. Just because there are crazy, lunatic, violent Islamists running amok worldwide we shouldn't downplay the pertinent threat of the ideology some Hindus hold close to their hearts, the way some so called protectors of Hinduism are celebrating this ghastly crime on social media and justifying the act makes me sad. Some things have changed for the better since 2014 but some things have changed for the worse, can't ignore the latter and pretend everything is OK in present day India.

Extremism/ruthless killing has been there since time immemorial. just because we have video evidence doesn't make it a legit to use it to rile on nationalists generically. It is unfortunate and should be shunned, but I think it is an isolated incident as evident from a killing in Bihar (LoveJihad) or in Kerala. People want to raise it as an issue because it happened in a BJP ruled state,

Bhai this is not honour killing or revenge killing or targeted elimination, this is cold blooded murder in front of the camera (his nephew was recording it) ISIS style. His method of killing (axe) followed by setting the victim on fire and a rant about how this was going to happen to all Muslims in India and so on and so forth.....WTF is that? This only happens in Taliban areas and ISIS camps (and a few other Muslim extremist areas), nowhere else in the civilized world would this sort of live recording of hate crime happen. And why the media blackout by channels like Republic TV and Times Now, why the total silence by BJP politicians, no condemnation from Raje Camp either !!!! This is a blot on India and Hinduism, aaj Musalmaan ko kaatenge, tomorrow if they don't agree with moderate Hindus unhe bhee maarenge, total anarchy, I dread where we are descending into as a country. More than the murderer the reaction of Hindus saddens me. After every terror attack the Islamists send smileys and high fives on social media, yesterday many Hindus were doing the same !!!!!

Even if there were some personal enmity there is a due process of law, you can't just do an ISIS style execution in front of camera and wage a call for wiping out all Muslims in India and spew venom. This is unimaginable, his 14 year old nephew was recording the execution, are these guys barbarians or what? Reaction to this is most surprising, many Hindus on social media are expressing joy over this and hailing him as if he is some sort of hero !!!! Hindutva is slowly but surely becoming the mirror image of Islamism and under this regime the fanatics have gotten emboldened, no 2 ways about it.

Saw this gruesome murder video on another website, it looked like it was very personal, so much rage in the guy who mercilessly gave a painful death to the victim who was wailing & begging for his life, if the victim had done something very cruel to the killer's family member/friend...then it's a different story...if not this was pure evil.

This is just one person, any right minded person who viewed the video would be really upset ( If the victim had not done anything equally bad )

Multiply this incident by 3000 plus and that's what happened against Sikhs in Delhi & Kanpur in 1984.

Hinduism and Sikhism gel very well together...

Should be treated as a crime. Attempts to link it to religion are unwarranted.

Religion X, 100,000 incidences in the name of religion

Religion Y, 100 incidences in the name of religion

The general logical conclusion cannot be people of Y are turning in to or acting like to people of X

Make an apt example of him and record it on a video so that nobody ever dares to commit the act ever again.

Bhai this is not a banana republic, he will most probably get life imprisonment (rigorous) but methinks this fits the rarest of rare categories and he should be sent to the gallows.

A RSS man was hacked to death in broad daylight in a busy Bangalore area similar to this incident, there was no such outrage. On camera it looks gruesome always. He has been caught/arrested and law takes due course. Giving it a communal colour and asking ..Yeh Rajasthan mein hi kyon hota hain... is wrong politics. Let them investigate why he perpetuated such a heinous crime.. personal reason or just a random killing? In any case, he should be punished accordingly.  There are some killings in Kerala which goes with no consequence, killers are not caught and they go free. What happened to the Hindu man who was killed on camera by a khalistani in Punjab recently. Nobody raises an issue of that.

Its personal enmity and a deranged man.

By some accounts, Shambu is a disturbed man. He has a palm-sized tattoo on his chest of his 12-year-old mentally challenged daughter holding a globe in her hand, one of his neighbours, a middle-aged man in khaki jacket told HT.

“The daughter is mentally challenged and he knew that she wouldn’t get married. He knew she will always live with him so he got her picture inked on his chest,” said another neighbour, an elderly woman.

Shambhu’s neighbours refused to be named when they talk about him.

The daughter is said to be very attached to Shambu and wouldn’t leave him when he was home.

The child, one of Shambu’s three kids, has been crying and vomiting since his arrest, the woman said.

“Shambhu used to get up early every day and go to Nauchauki lake to practice yoga for an hour,” said one of Shambu’s brother Nirmal Kumar Regar, who works as a lab

technician at a clinic. Another brother named Lokesh, refused to talk.

Neighbours say that Shambu was engaged in marble business earlier but was unemployed for more than two years and his brothers supported him financially.

The elderly woman claimed that he even ‘rescued’ a young woman who had run away to Bengal with a Muslim man

Anita Regar (named changed on request) had ‘eloped’ with one Mohd Babloo Sheikh to Bengal in 2010 when she was 13. She says the man used magic to influence her into going with him to Sayadpur village in Malda. She adds that the place where she lived was a dangerous place.

“They can kill people easily,” she says. In 2012, Shambu volunteered to go and bring her back after her mother lamented that there was no one to bring her daughter back home.

“When he came there, I told him to go back and that I would return on my own. I came 15 days after his visit yet he took Rs 10,000 from my mother as a price for the ‘rescue’,” says Anita, who considers Shambu as a brother and ties rakhi on him every year. She works at a local beauty parlour and is enrolled for Class 12 as a private candidate.

The elder two sisters married, she has a mother and 15-year-old brother to look after.

Shambu’s neighbours say that he was getting threats from Afrazul who also hailed from Malda’s Sayadpur village because he had taken Anita away from a fellow Bengali. After he brought the girl back to Rajsamand, Bengali labourers had beaten him. Shambu fractured his hand in the attack, they claimed.

diff is this will become a communal issue not law and order. but if Hindu is killed its not communal merely bad fortune, no law and order issue either, as no arrests are made to prevent communal harmony.

That is the hypocrisy of MSM. If it was the other way around, it will be reported as  a man of a certain peaceful community, but now look how they bring the perp's religion in every report. Journalism in India is a sham.

The people who killed Rudresh have been arrested and put behind bars, also denied bail. They were PFI goons who had political enmity with the RSS Shivajinagar unit. There was enough coverage after that incident and since I was in Bengaluru that time i can vouch for the fact that the media/activists there covered it a lot and even Siddhu and his police force were quick to make the arrests, the mastermind was a high level PFI leader from Shivajinagar. Congress and even many Muslims outrightly have accepted that SDPI/PFI is a communal org and should be banned. Just a matter of time before PFI is banned all over India.

Regarding the Punjab killings of non Sikh leaders there have been arrests made and Amarinder Singh has come out hard on the KLF-ISI links. Many arrests are being made and you don't see a vast majority of Sikhs celebrating the killings. Again there was media coverage.

This murder is different from the other 2. It is a targeted hate crime and the brutal killing was live recorded by a 14 year old child. This happens only in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq. This wasn't a political murder or international conspiracy, just pure hatred towards another person. If Muslims make live videos of butchering Hindus you can be very well sure that media will cover it relentlessly unlike this case where it has been brushed under the carpet. This was a lone wolf terror attack and there should be no whataboutery here. Worse than this execution is the behavior of a vast majority of Hindus on social media, behaving like how ISIS supporters behave after every terror attack in the West.
