Married a Hindu girl and then stabbed her to death in a dowry related case (was a huge case back then). He played the Muslim card and tried to pin the blame on his wife's Hindu relatives for framing him, also a proud member of the intolerance brigade and pro Pakistan gang. After Gurdaspur and Pathankot terror attacks and revelation of Ghulam Ali's past anti India statements (Kufristan, Muh me Ram bagal me churi yada yada), there was a public mood against inviting him to India. This hero then stepped in and started making a movie 'Ghar Wapsi' starring Ghulam Ali as an actor cum singer !!! Remember Arnab roasting this pseudo intellectual back then. Now that he has been convicted of his wife's murder what will mombatti brigade say?
